Tiffanys Sweets N’ Treats

I will never go to another bakery again. I bought my wedding cake from Tiffany’s Sweets N’ Treats, and will only have her make my cakes from now on. The cake was exactly as described, and the flavor was the best I ever had, and super moist. Look no further if you want the best, this is your final destination. Thank you Tiffany for your professionalism and excellent care!

Still have not heard from Tiffany at all and I just wanted it to be known that there has been no conversation or partial refund. The picture shows the bristle or whatever that was in the cake that made it inedible. Really dissatisfied with her lack of communication and the lies that she has told. I have numerous text I have sent her none of which have been answered. Looking into small claims court to recoup some of my money since part of what I paid for could not be eaten.

So yesterday was my son’s fourth birthday party. I booked Tiffany’s Sweets N’ Treats in Fredericksburg to make his cake. After mailing her a check two weeks prior for half of the money I contacted her to tell her the date, she said she never got the check. She continuously told me not to worry about the check as I figured she knew I would pay her. She decided at the last minute, yesterday AM, to not make my cake and didn’t even inform me! She said she would check the mail again. I contacted her yesterday AM at 8:30 asking her if she ever found my deposit check and if she had my address to deliver to, and she said no and that her son was sick, and she was so sorry. She stated because she never got my check the day wasn’t confirmed and that she has been burned before. Never once did she tell me that if she didn’t have my deposit she wouldn’t make the cake. Now I completely understand this, which is why I told her I would pay her on the google wallet app she suggested at that moment. But she tells me this YESTERDAY. She also said her family was sick over the weekend and she thought they would get better so she could make my cake. Really?! How about some notice next time like more than 6 hours before the party. If your kids were sick on Saturday and you knew you weren’t going to make a cake then let your clients know. I get family comes first… but that is no way to run a business. Buyers beware. Bottom line… you don’t tell someone you decided the day of their event that you no longer want to make their order because their check was lost when they assume you are still making their cake. I clearly believe Tiffany didn’t intend to make the cake as she didn’t even have my address, phone number, or the time of my event. I learned my lesson! Don’t let my faith in humanity block good judgement! I should have gotten a contract!

I highly recommend Tiffany. If you are looking for something creative and delicious look no further. She is very talented and knows what she’s doing. Everything is home made and she pays attention to detail. Delicious, great quality!
