My review is solely on the Spa, as I did not stay at the Inn, we only came for spa services. I had a facial and a quick massage. The facial was very relaxing(as I was hoping for since it was 9am). I see a lot of people complaining they were not talked through it. I work in Cosmetology and to each his own I guess. My experience with a spa is that people want quiet, serene and total relaxation. My suggestion, is if you want to be walked through the entire process of any spa service, it would probably suit you best to state that up front. My quick massage was only 25 minutes, but was absolutely perfect. She made the very best of that short time and it was great. Last but not least, the entire staff(more specifically the receptionist who I did most of my chatting with) was SO nice and friendly. I actually ended up leaving my watch behind by accident and not realizing it until the following week. I called them and upon finding it(after some serious searching, wedged between cushions) they immediately said no worries, we will ship it to you ASAP. Wouldn’t let me pay for it and even offered to put insurance on the package. It’s a pretty heavy and over-sized mens watch and for them to do that when it was 100% my mistake, is pretty great customer service. I DEFINITELY plan to return to this spa the next time I am in town :)

We stayed in the room adjacent to the spa, the spa was booked so we were unable to use their services but the room was nice and comfortable with a nice view, we were woken up by a rooster next door every morning but we made the most if it, expensive for what you get get but still a nice place to stay for the weekend

What a nice place to stay at! The staff are all incredibly friendly, and the location is a block or two from Main Street! We literally walked to our restraunts to eat and to the many different attractions and museums. My husband and I were able to check out the suites that are not connected to the main building and the king suite inside the main building, and both were very comfortable and secluded. The only complaint we had was that the bed was a too firm for my husband and I. But it wasn’t awful or enough to complain about. When we return to Fredericksburg TX we will definitely stay here again.

My sister, sister-in-law and myself started out my bachelorette weekend with massages and a facial as a relaxing way to start the weekend. I had the rejuvenating facial, my sister had the hot stone massage, and my sister-in-law had the classic massage. I’ll go into detail about the facial but I will say my feelings were shared across the board even though we had different services and therapists. The lady who gave the facial didn’t talk to me once except to say she was leaving the room so I could undress and get on the table. I waited awhile for her to come back and for the rest of the time she didn’t say a word. This was not in a relaxing way, it was in an «I wish she would tell me what is going on» sort of way. There was no warning when she started the extractions, and they really hurt. I had tears forming in my eyes under what I think was just a cotton pad with hot water. There was also zero massage as a part of this facial, which is always my favorite part. Usually they will rub your neck and shoulders, not this time. She did what I am guessing they considered a scalp massage. The only way I could explain it to my sister was that it felt like what a child would do if you told them to massage your head — she just kind of tapped at my hair — no massage motion or pressure at all. This was the least relaxing spa experience I have ever had. I hope they take my feedback to heart and add a little more heart to their services.

Acne facial($ 80): Blanca did not speak to me the entire 50 minutes. I really wish she would have talked me through it. There were times that I felt like I was just laying there and nothing was happening. The extractions hurt really bad, more than previous facials I’ve had. I didn’t feel like she really got any of the blackheads out of my nose which is a big problem for me. Massage($ 80): It was nice and felt good. The room I was in was at the front of the building by the road so I heard traffic and cars the whole time which really took away from the relaxation factor. Mani/pedi: My mom and I were here for a Mothers’ Day weekend trip and wanted to get our nails done together but were told there was only one technician so we would have to do them separately. We opted out.

This place is very clean. The staff is friendly. We didn’t know about the military discount. The receptionist change our bill immediately. Nice and quiet. and easy access to the main square. Will definitely state here again.

We booked a couples massage for our anniversary. I told the mgr and she asked what number… We were taken to a nice room up front(unfortunate truck noise). My massage was pretty darn nice, but unbeknownst to me my husband got a lecture about his smoking, not once but twice with religious overtones. Unfortunately I tipped her before he told me. At the end I wished my husband«Happy Anniversary» and the ladies were surprised. I enjoyed and hope to find another place to try for a romantic couples massage overnight… it will not be at this facility

This place was fantastic. Clean, friendly, and cute! The staff was very nice and Kathy, who gave me a mani-pedi was a delight! I even received a lovely thank you note when I returned home from my trip. What a great souvenir!

We went to the spa for a couples massage and scalp massages. We’ve definitely had better… much better. The aromatherapy had no aroma. The massage left much to be desired. The«scalp» massage was gently applying oil to our hair — both of us with different therapists. I suggested to the management afterward that they should rename this service as such since our scalps were not even touched. We were also overcharged. We were both very unhappy with our treatments and the handling of our price adjustment, which took several emails back and forth as we had already returned home from our vacation. The Inn is decent, but don’t opt to visit the spa.

Great staff, clean and relaxing environment. Average priced services in an over priced tourist city. My mom and I both had massages and the therapists were professional and better than average. Kathy only spoke to me if absolutely necessary so it was a nice, quiet and peaceful massage. I hate it when therapists won’t shut up. I would definitely go back!
