It was around this time last year that I had been struggling with back pain issues for a few months. I was no longer able to work out and had thrown my back out twice, each time putting me on the couch for 2 days and not able to work. I decided to see a physical therapist and I’m very glad that I chose Select Physical Therapy. My physical therapist, Craig Hirokawa was able to show me an exercise regiment that to this day has kept my back free of pain and kept me off the couch and working. He started me off slow with only a few exercises, and as I progressed he added more and more until I felt like I was back to full strength. More importantly through his routine I gained back the confidence that I was again capable of many physical feats. Most importantly, he took the time to explain what was happening with my body, what needed to be done and how we were going to fix it. This knowledge he imparted I believe is as important as the actual exercises and not every place will take the time to do this. It will take commitment on your part to the regimen they will prescribe for your needs, as it will not be easy at first, but once you start seeing results and constantly building upon those results I guarantee you will be hooked on feeling good again. That along with the knowledge of your body you will gain through their expertise is key to living the rest of your life to the fullest of your potential… It’s ultimately up to you, but they will help you get there. I highly recommend Select Physical Therapy. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, they are one of the few places that can do «Dry Needling» which sounds terrible, but can be a major factor in helping you on your way to recovery — be sure to ask them about«Dry Needling». Enjoy. — Anthony Bonacci

I like Select Physical Therapy… as much as one can like having to go to physical therapy! 8-) Staff is friendly and everyone seems to remember your name even after going just once. Of everyone I’ve seen there, I’d put my money on Craig — he seems really into what he does and is interested in listening to you and doing what is best. He has been my cheerleader even when I look at him and say«now you don’t really expect me to be able to do that, do you?» He has a warm smile, is encouraging and I fully trust his expertise. I was nervous about going to PT but now I even look forward to it because I know that I’m getting great care.
