I agree with the other reviewer who said the technician was condescending and sexist. I’d also add arrogant to Raymond’s description. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because I didn’t have to wait too long for an appointment and Raymond made some adjustments to one of my appliances that I wasn’t aware was an option. Of course the fact that my warranties were still in effect probably had something to do with that. Additionally, Raymond didn’t have a grasp on the value of the appliances in my home and couldn’t fathom that I actually knew the difference between the cubed ice and crushed ice option on my refrigerator. I need an appliance repair person again but I won’t be calling Raytech.

Had a new dishwasher suddenly stop working. Manufacturer made an appt with Raytech. There had been a basin full of nasty water that I bailed out. There was some I was unable to get however, Tech spent three minutes in my house before saying he knew the problem and would order the part. It would be here in a week. We waited 8 days and called. Customer Service stated they couldn’t finish the job and I needed to call the Manufacturer. The tech complained of an odor. Obviously if there is water in the dishwasher that has not been sitting for two weeks that I am unable to clean out there will be an odor. Never ordered the part. Now I am stuck waiting for another repair company to come out and then order the part. I’m on chemo and managed to clean out most of the water and he can’t handle a little odor? Sounds like he’s in the wrong business! Wouldn’t have bothered me so bad if he had at least told us he couldn’t do it.

Visited my parents for the holidays and guess what, their refrigerator still isn’t working. After spending almost $ 600 I’d say they are pretty horrible.

Never had anything to do with the appliance repair part but I did have an unpleasant encounter with one of their drivers. First he was blocking traffic because he could, deliberately driving 55 in the left-hand lane, paralleling other drivers and just enjoying himself. I finally got around him, flipped him off, and suddenly that RayTech Appliance Service van was going 70 mph to try to keep up with me, chasing me some 20 miles at high speed, weaving in and out of traffic, still being a real jerk but doing it a lot faster. They may be just fine and dandy at appliance repair. One of their drivers is a jerk.

They came when they said they would and fixed our dishwasher at the price they quoted. They left the work area like they found it. Can’t ask more of a service business. Their Website has coupons and other useful information.
