The guides at the Mary Washington House have always greeted us with southern hospitality as well as interesting information about the mother of George Washington as well as his sister Betty and brothers John Augustine, Samuel and Charles. So much wonderful history! I look forward to my next visit!

The Mary Washington House was pretty interesting. The man giving half the tour was very knowledgable and welcoming. Would have liked some literature about the gardens or more signage but a must stop when visiting Fredericksburg!
