Not a hotel and not exactly a restaurant, but get past the confusing exterior and inside you will find a cozy atmosphere and very good food. Clearly this is a Local Favorite, but despite being obvious outsiders we were warmly greeted and engaged. The surf and turf wrap was surprisingly good, the taco salad was also delicious, although the tortilla could have been cooked a little more. The children’s chicken strip were lightly breaded and nice and juicy. Overall, this is a safe stop for good food and close proximity to the highway for jumping off and back on to your destination.

After sampling the Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel’s wings at a recent festival we decided to give the restaurant a try. We were not disappointed! The food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. Both my mom and I got the boneless eagles nest, ¾ lbs of boneless wings on an enormous pile of curly fries for $ 9.95. The wings came out piping hot and there was a lot of them. Neither my mom or I could finish our fries. I went for the honey bbq wings and mom had hot. They have a ton of different sauces to choose from. My hubby had a burger that was also enormous and different, it had fried pickles and pepper cheese on it. The server/​bar tender was so friendly and welcoming! We will definitely be back again and again.

Eat here frequently with my family, also have used them for larger scale catering. Wings are always consistent and good. Burgers and Fish Sandwich are great. Some of the entrees do get expensive, but there aren’t a lot of choices in this area. In late evening becomes more of a bar, but early evening still a great spot for families. Servers are always good. Only negative is that last time I was there I noticed they were charging for refills on soda… May have been a mistake, but glasses are kind of small and with ice you aren’t getting a lot for $ 2!
