As many people know, it can take a long time to find a good hair stylist that you can trust with your hair. I have to say that my only regret is not finding Julie sooner… I would’ve avoided a lot of bad hair experiences. Don’t let the location or size of this salon fool you. I’ve traveled and lived all over the world and I’ve gotten my hair done in many of the hair «meccas» of the word — Rome, Paris, Milan, New York, LA. I would put Julie up against any one of those stylists in a heartbeat! This woman is amazing as is the customer service provided by the staff at Downtown Salon!

This salon is great. They are always on time with their appointments but they don’t rush you. They spend as much time with you as you need. Kia is fabulous– she’s been cutting my hair for a couple of years now and she always does a great job. She even teaches techniques on how to style the cuts she gives me. Plus the price is very reasonable. I couldn’t ask for more.

My whole family loves this salon. It’s classy, yet casual, and very friendly. My husband and daughter both have their hair done by Cija. She really knows what she’s doing and she takes direction well. They’re very laid back and fun. I sometimes bring my dog with me when I visit. They treat her like royalty, bringing her snacks and playing with her. Plus, if you look like you need it they’ll give you a glass of wine. You really can’t go wrong here.
