Chuckwagon Inn

We had a fabulous experience here for our anniversary. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts were so kind and attentive. The guest houses are historical and have been restored and modernized with lots of charm. We stayed in the Bollinger cabin and really enjoyed our time.

We stayed two nights in the Mustang Room for our «minimoon» in Fredricksburg. Sam and Becky were charming from the minute we checked in, and it only got better after spending some time with them over breakfast. (Don’t miss it, you will be sorry!) In addition to the tasty food, you will get recommendations on places to spend your visit, and of course, hysterical stories (and ongoing banter between the two of them).
We got to tour most of the rooms on our way out, the but the Mustang was our favorite due to layout: all one floor, and bed faces fireplace and windows (and tv should you need it). Clean and cozy, it was the perfect amount of space for two. The bathroom was huge: giant soaking tub big enough for two (with shower) There is a patio as well and parking (though this is true for all rooms).
This place is number 1 on Trip advisor, for good reason. It’s time to show them a little love on Unilocal
