Cheap on the go lunch! Ordered 2 pieces of pizza, soda, & wine for like $ 15. Far from the best pizza I’ve ever ate, but it’s a great place for a quick bite to eat! Everyone behind the counter was amazing! Beyond friendly, even when it got super busy. They made you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Would definitely eat here again!

Definitely a place to go to for traditional new york style pizza!!! The pizzas are HUGE so dont go unless you have an empty stomach. Seating arrangements a pain though, very small area and its usually busy and chaotic at first but the huslte is worth the prize!

Slice is huge and tasty. Perfect crispness on the bottom. Great price($ 4 – 5). Friendly staff. Only choice is pizza here(by the pie or the slice) makes ordering easy. Little wait time, in and out in 5 – 10 minutes.

New Yorker here. This is the closest to a real slice that I’m gonna get here & I have no complaints. However, it’s hilarious watching people try to eat a slice. Here’s a helpful hint: stop picking it up flat & eating from the bottom. You look retarded. Fold that shit in half(from the sides…). See how much more sense it makes now?

This place was recommended to us by a bartender and so glad we went. We stopped by for dinner. It was pretty crowded, but we found a couple seats at the bar where we got to watch the giant pizzas go in the oven and then boxed and distributed. We ordered three slices for two of us — bit of an overshoot. Neither of us finished our own slice and didn’t make it to the third slice. Really tasty crust on the pizza. Fun place with good prices on yummy pizza. I definitely recommend it if you’re in the area!

After living in Fredericksburg for 3.5 years and going down town frequently and never trying Benny’s, my husband and I finally decided to try it one night. I have heard about how big the slices are and they are only $ 5 so we definitely had to try it. The location of downtown is nice and convenient but the inside of the location sucks. It’s tiny and hot as heck, especially by the bar because that is where the ovens are and are constantly open and closing. The pizza itself is pretty good. Me and my husband both liked it. I thought it was neat how their slices and whole pizzas are so big. I also really liked how each slice is $ 4-$ 5. The cheese pizza is $ 4 and the Sausage and Pepperoni slices are $ 5. They also have $ 1 water bottles and $ 0.50 Garlic Sauce Dips(the sauce that Papa Johns serves with their pizzas). We sat at the bar and it was sooo hot bc it was in front of the oven. We got to slide down a bit so it wasn’t directly in front of the oven but it was still hot. Yes, we could have left but we wanted to enjoy the experience there. Overall, Benny’s is a good place for pizza and you definitely leave full. Some people can eat 2 of these slices but I definitely ate 1. It also stays open late so it’s good after a drunk night on the town. Lol. You also can’t beat their prices for one single slice and the size of the slice. Definitely a must try.

Loved the thin and crispy crust! And just the right amount of sauce. Make sure you come hungry!

This place has some great pizza but i think what really gets me is the fact that each slice is like eating half of a regular pizza. Not many options but thats fine. Keep it simple and keep it great. Definitely recommend. Gave 4 out of 5 because of the wait time.

I was very pleased with my GIANT slice of sun dried tomato and pesto pizza. And the beer list was quite extensive as well. Highly recommend for a quick and laid back lunch or dinner.(But seriously… these slices are huge!)

Fantastic pizza. Slices are humongous. Crispy pizza. Small little place so the wait can be a while but worth it. Also a good beer selection.

The pizza is great. I thought it would be gimmicky because of the size but it is truly very close to NY pizza and the grease proves it. Super thin crust too. I wish the place was bigger. I appreciate their $ 2 giant cans of PBR. I just wish we could be sure we could get a table there. They have 4. But call ahead, take it home. It’s worth the wait & the trip.

This place is great! Pizza is really good, giant and fun. Love the perfect crunch in every bite! It’s a tiny place but adds to the charm.

Awesome pizza, I visited some of my friends who lived near downtown Fredericksburg and they took me here. The pizza was bigger than I expected and was an awesome experience. The pizza is thinly cut(my preferred style of pizza). I would definitely come by to this spot whenever I’m there.

Really good pizza. I’m not big on pizza but they won me over. I liked that it wasn’t too saucy. The slices are very big. It’s a little small inside but it’s nice. Staff was friendly. If it wasn’t downtown this would be our go to pizza place.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The location is horrible, the restaurant is uncomfortably tiny and the wait can take quite some time, but the final product is so good i still have them 4 stars. Their Pizza ovens are huge and it looks like they can cook two pizzas in each of the two ovens at a time, which I’m sure is the reason it takes so long for your food. I ordered two slices of pepperoni to-go, i wasnt a fan of the limited options, but i assume that’s to cut down on time, so it’s understandable. My two slices took almost thirty minutes, but they were delicious! I had to drive about thirty minutes home before i could eat, so it wasn’t piping hot, but was still perfect! I can only imagine it hot and fresh. I will definitely be returning, possibly to eat in the restaurant so i can have my Pizza right out of the oven!

Best pizza I’ve had in years! More pros: Affordable– Pepperoni slice and a beer was $ 10 Friendly staff Good variety of pizzas Good variety of beverages(beers, sodas etc) Some of the Cons: Not enough seating Easily crowded Long wait time(Defo worth it!)

Pizzas here are HUGE! I decided to start off with a classic… good old cheese pizza. The pizza had a great crunchy thin crust and allowed me to finish 75% of it. Keep in mind, one slice fits onto two paper plates(pictures below). However, I found the pizza itself a little salty, but nonetheless very satisfying if you’re craving a easy carb filled meal. My boyfriend decided to try one of their specials, the southwest chicken pizza and of course I had a bite. It was good, but it seemed the crust was a little thicker on this one and that made me glad I didn’t order it. My boyfriend and I will definitely be coming back the next time we have the munchies.

No. Please stop hyping this place up because the pizzas are huge. Bigger isn’t always better. This is probably a good place to be if you’re in high school and you want to seem edgy and cool. Slices run about $ 5 a pop which is understandable considering the size of the slice, but I think I could get a better pizza at Sbarro… which is just sad. Sauce has no redeeming qualities, slices are limp from sogginess, and the sausage had a funky taste and texture that I could only describe as hard jello. Limited selection and the specials they have are just bizarre. My friend got a slice with pineapple and some sort of hot peppers on it and he said it was a confusing flavor combination. Seating is limited and booths are torn up and repatched with duct tape, not comfortable if you’re wearing shorts. I wouldn’t come back.

Finally able to try the pizza here and think I was expecting a bit more from it… Indeed the size of the slice is awesome and you def pay for the size, but flavor wise it was a tad lacking in that aspect. I just ordered a slice of cheese to try, figured just try the basic first. The staff were friendly and the place has a nice little vibe. May bring my 8yr old one time as I’m sure she’d be amazed by the size of the slice. Also noticed, pricing seems to include tax… So a $ 4 slice is just that!
