Went for oil change very fun experience Ronnie Savage is great. Extremely funny and friendly. New up to date video of the folks working underneath and under hood so they can’t pull any belts off without you seeing (as mentioned in 2015 posts). Been going there for a bit. Yes they recommend stuff doesn’t mean you have to do it, basically a suggestion. Great service.

Every time I come to this location, I receive 100% customer service and more. They always remember who I am. They treat me with kindness and always know how to put a smile on my face. This is a great crew and I am always happy with their work. Thank you to Josh, Jenna, Mr. Ronald and the entire crew at the Lube Center for taking good care of me and taking care of my vehicle!

These guys are the most professional, most courteous individuals I’ve ever come across at an oil change facility! I wished I lived in the area so I could ALWAYS get my oil changed here! Thanks so much guys!

I was surprised to see one star on the previous reviews for this place, but I was willing to take a chance on getting my oil changed here since my last experience with Jiffy Lube was not so good. My experience here was outstanding! The staff were so friendly and professional. The technician that was assisting me (Kamaal) and the manager (Ronald) explained everything to me in simple terms and made sure I felt comfortable. Affordable service and got my car in with no wait.
I will definitely service my car here again. No more Jiffy Lube!

I will never use The Lube Center again, despite having them do my oil changes for many years. Yesterday I visited them to find out why one of my tires would not hold air. Two mechanics looked at it and told me that that «it was dry rotted.» When I expressed my disbelief that it was dry rot, I was told that «it’s not uncommon to find dry rot on older tires.» Then they advised me to replace the tire, along with the other front tire because «it’s a good idea to replace them both at the same time.»
Let me add here that the tires are TWO years old with less than 20,000 miles on them. Bottom line, I took my car to Costco’s service department where it was determined that I didn’t have any dry rot, I had a nail in my tire, and they fixed it for $ 11.14 total.
This is the second time I was give incorrect information at The Lube Center, and avoided spending lots of money needlessly by getting a 2^nd opinion, they will not get a 3^rd chance to deceive me.

Went to them to determine whether I had an engine oil consumption problem. Was also promised an oil change with the service. They determined no problem — charging me about $ 80 in the process. A few months later, I received a manufacturer recall for engine oil consumption.
Also, the guy forgot about the oil change he promised me.
Buyer beware!

Avoid at all costs. These guys tried to charge my wife 90 dollars for an oil change. At that price, just take it to the dealership to have it done. Luckily she called to check with me to see if that was standard for that price. I told her no and she didn’t get the service. Now after reading these other reviews by female customers it makes sense. This looks to be a shady business.

I went in here thinking this place was going to be great. Oil changes while you wait. Drive right in, get your oil changed, be on your way. 10 mins, no hassle. They even gave me a $ 5 coupon when I checked in on Unilocal.SCORE.
But I got a lot of hassle. The minute they saw I was a young woman, the hustle began. Oh, all your fluids need to be changed. Oh, your battery needs to be replaced. Oh, you can’t drive out of here without a new air filter.
They tried to sell me $ 500+ of things I don’t really need. Luckilly I checked with my husband, who is an amateur mechanic, and he explained that this is a work done to people (Read: women) who they think don’t know any better.
So as a result of that hustle, my oil change took almost 30 mins instead of 10, and I left very annoyed. And got even more annoyed when my husband pointed out that he goes there for oil changes all the time with our cars, and they never try to pull that stuff on him.
I will be finding a Jiffy Lube for my next oil change.

These guys know how to have fun at work and give some of the best customer service you could expect. Tyler, Daniel and the guys and girls there are informative, and accommodating. No pressure to sell unnecessary items which is why I go back every time. Keep up the great work!!!

DARCIE D — –OMG! They did the same thing to me about the belt. I was told that I needed a new serpentine belt cause mine was cracked in several places and could break at any time. So they told me to go to the Auto Store, (next to Rugged Warehouse) and buy the belt and for $ 40, they would install it. So I did.
Then about 2 visits passed, and went in for oil change, and was told that my Serpentine Belt was ready to crack.
IMMEDIATELY I got defensive and said, you just changed it 5 months ago. He looked through computer and told me flat out, NO YOU DIDNT HAVE IT CHANGED. I said, are you calling me a liar? So after 15 minutes, I found MY RECEIPT OF THE BELT PUT ON. They never found it on theirs. So what happened was, the Dude pocketed the $ 40’and did it under the table. So after it was cleared up, they became. very quiet. and retracted the I NEED A BELT STATEMENT. Imagine that, all of a sudden my belt is in perfect condition!!! YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD. They are scamming people with repairs not needed and are NOT DOCUMENTING THEM. I have like 3 years of receipts from them and I am taking my copies up to The Lubes shop, and demand that they cross reference their records with mine! How many more discrepancies will I find between my records and theirs?

Be extremely cautious when you go to this facility. I went in for an oil change and was deliberately lied to. The guy pulled out a belt and told me I needed a new serpentine belt and he also mentioned I needed to flush my engine due to water build up. The most imperative point to all of this, is that the belt did not come from or belong to my vehicle.
My uncle does my body work as well as my auto repairs and any major servicing and had just changed all of my belts within the last 30 days.
The guy asked if I wanted to come and look at the water in my engine and as I got out of the vehicle I asked about this belt that he showed me and where he got it from. He looked inquisitively into my engine area and could not show me where this belt went. The belt was frayed and very deteriorated however no where did this belt belong or come from my car.
He looked around my engine area I asked if he could please put the belt back on my car because it worried me that I would be driving without a belt. He made it sound as if this belt needed to be replaced immediately due to safety. Instead of putting it back on my vehicle he threw it in the trash. This was the most ridiculous and most blatant lie I have ever endured at a business. He did try showing me the water in my engine however when I looked there was absolutely no water in my engine nor where he was showing me.
Just because I’m a female does not mean that I’m a freaking idiot. This might be the most scariest thing ever to know that you can be lied to and or scared into doing services at this facility when they really are not necessary at all!
I think i will be passing this info onto some other folks… Will have to see if we can open pandoras box!!!

I came here this morning for an oil change. These dudes were ok. They made me feel a little uneasy because they had not worked on Volvo before but they were upfront and honest. No complaints. They were very thorough in discussing my future vehicle maintenance needs. I was fairly happy with the service.

While out shopping I ran over a nail in a nearby parking lot of The Lube Center. I drove over to The Lube Center to see if they could help. Although they were unable to patch due to the size of the hole they were very helpful with swapping out my tire with the spare. They gave my children lollipops and juice and offered me bottled water while we waited. They changed the tire quickly and had us back out and on our way in about 10 minutes. Everyone in the shop was very polite and friendly. GREAT customer service!

I hate getting any service done to my car. Anytime I go somewhere I feel as a woman they try to sell me a bunch of junk I don’t need just to make money off the dumb girl who knows nothing about cars. But at the Lube Center that’s not the case, I came in for an oil change and that’s exactly what I got. They did a service intake to assess what could help my car run better but didn’t push the issue with getting any of the services. Another time I came in they priced me for a service at around $ 129 but since my car was diesel it was going to be $ 30 more, they didn’t charge me the extra $ 30 because he said he already told me another price. I love this place, they have amazing service you can rely on. I HIGHLY recommended this place these people are great!

Just visiting through Frederick when our oil light popped up. Wow, simply WOW! There were a line of cars waiting for a quick «10 minute change» but that was hardly an issue. The cashier was making rounds to each vehicle to get information, and she asked if we needed anything to drink (water, juice, or coffee). Lauren was more than helpful when we had a question about the oil menu. During the oil change, Charles helped us and provided the same amazing hospitality. They also checked all of our lights, tire pressure, and wiped our windows. Outstanding service! Thanks guys and gals!

Great guys! Even though I am a girl, they did not try to sell me a bunch of services, went over all of the oil change options and helped me pick the most reasonable one, which is, as opposed to the Germantown location, wasn’t also the most expensive one. Explained the routine work that needs to be done, asked (only once!) if based on the routine work, there is anything that I would like to get done today and sent me on my way — 15 minutes all together even though they seemed very busy and the cars kept coming in at a steady pace. Five stars to this place!!!

I asked them to pinch me to see if I was dreaming! I have a Volvo and shouldn’t really be taking it to chains to get my oil change but was in a pinch and needed to get on the road to Philly. So yes on a Saturday morning I called to see if they had what they needed for my car because most chains don’t. First smile. Freddy got on the line and asked me questions about my make and model and yes they did. He said about 10 minutes it would take. I was thinking ya right. I pull in like a drive thru at 1 on a Saturday. Out comeS the young lady with a clip order who takes «my order» and asks if we’d like juice, coffee, or water while we waited. OK did you mean free… who does that anymore? So yes after receiving two cold cups of juice we pulled into the bay having waited all of 2 minutes after filling out «my order.» Freddy that I spoke with was the mechanic handling my vehicle. He asked if we wanted a refill and got it for us! Were we in the 1950’s…I was waiting to hear…“Mr. Sandman… uh flashback to 50’s scene in movie Back to the Future for you youngins” lol
We waited in the car sipping our juice. I didn’t have my frequent club card… I had one from using another location for car washes… no problem they looked it up and linked it!
So all in all 10 minutes maybe 12 from taking my order to hood down! I had to give kudos to the manager for a nicely run operation! So Freddy, Mike (I think is the manager’s name) kudo’s. Now my mechanic may not like my not coming to him, but you all will be on my shortlist when he’s not available! I’M TELLING EVERYONE IN FREDERICK… GO TO THIS ONE GO TO THIS ONE… EXPERIENCE GREAT SERVICE AND NICE PEOPLE… THEY STILL EXIST!!!
