I guess this is formerly the Gaithersburg store, sister to the Annapolis Exotic Lumber, Inc.
My recollection — it’s been a while — is that it’s a nice store, with prices that are some good, some on the high side. Selection is not the same as the Annapolis store, making it worth a visit.

LOVE this place! If you are looking for a place that has wood you will never find in a box store, this is it. many, many species to choose from. The location was busy, and Neil helped us along with many customers. It took us a while to make our decision but when we were ready Neil was there as soon as he finished with another customer who was ahead of us. Great service, and a wonderful selection. Note: they are not builders. They specialize in the lumber you need to do your woodworking. But they are extremely knowledgeable about wood, the properties of it, and carpentry aspects. My husband and I work with wood for a living. This is a place we will go back to time and time again.
