Briana’s Hair Spa

This is a long anticipated review, and I’ve always wanted to give my review on this establishment, so here it goes:
My cousin drove me to this salon back in 2007. I came in with very damaged roots and ends and came out looking fabulous.
The hairstylist that did my hair at the time was Leslie. She gave me a relaxer with a deep conditioning treatment and a doobie wrap (As a New Yorker, I thought that doobie wraps were only known in NYC). She took her time with my hair while working on other customers. She kept communication flowing as to what I needed to be done to my hair, etc., etc. the only thing I didn’t like was the fact that I was at the salon from 12−8pm at the time.
Overall, this place gets 5 stars!

First time going there. I really like the way my hair looks. Going back there for sure!

I started going to Briana’s hair spa 3 years ago after deciding to transition to natural hair, and losing a lot of my own hair due to breakage resulting in a health issue and over 20 years of relaxers. Needless to say I was quite apprehensive about the entire process, but Tasha offered me sound and professional advice through a consultation. Tasha was very thorough, asking me questions about my lifestyle to help identify the best path forward for me. Additionally, she eased my fears with education, tips and indicated that she has helped others before and she would certainly help me. Now, nearly three years later — my hair is long, thick and healthy. I really appreciate the professionalism, supreme customer service and knowledge of the staff, especially Tasha who is always prepared to educate and consult with her clients on the health and life of their hair. Thanks Tasha for being an awesome stylist and hair care professional, I really appreciate you helping me look my best!

I’ve used Briana’s for years! My daughters also go to Briana’s Hair Spa. I’m always able to get an appt, even with short notice. I’ve always found the staff to be friendly and my stylist Natasha is always able to recommend products and services to help improve the condition of my scalp and hair. Throughout the years, I’ve always seen Phyliss go out of her way to satisfy customers whenever an issue arose. As with any salon, if you go on a typical busy day, your wait/​service time will be longer than normal. I plan accordingly with a snack and a book. I’ve never left this salon dissatisfied with my hair or my experience. I will definitely continue to use Briana’s Hair Spa and always recommend them to my friends.

Brianna’s Hair Spa is the number one spot in Frederick, MD for ethnic hair care. Stylists are knowledgeable and promote healthy hair. I came to them with damaged hair 2 years ago, and I can say happily now that my hair is growing and healthy.
Good customer service is a must for me and I have always received good customer service and have grown to really depend on the professional knowledge of the stylists currently in Brianna’s. They do it all here braids, weaves etc. I would recommend Brianna’s to anyone who desires good advice in obtaining and keeping healthy hair.

I visited Briana’s after driving past and spotting it when I moved to the city. When I went in, the first thing that I noticed is that the shop is filthy. The stylist that helped me was very friendly, although she was very slow. I asked for a service (a blow out), which she refused to give me. When she was done doing what she wanted to do, my hair looked horrible. Although the shop was not busy, and I was able to get in and get out quickly, the service was poor and I would not recommend this salon to anyone.
