What a great experience. Lived up to its expectations. We ordered the Brussel sprouts which were amazing and the hummus to start. My girlfriend ordered filet and I had the lamb chops. Great service thru the whole evening, will be back. Highly recommended this place!

Went here last night for Valentine’s Day dinner. I had been here a few years before and remember the great experience I had. I was glad I chose to come here for this holiday! Right when you walk in it smells like all sorts of pita bread, meat and cheeses, which are all of my favorite things. We were promptly seated and given menus by our lovely waitress. We ordered the flaming cheese and cigar trio. The cheese is quite a show and goes great on top of the pita bread given to every table. The«cigars» are made with lamb in one, feta in the next and chicken in the last, with each having their own specific dip. Absolutely scrumptious! I remember having these before and told my boyfriend both of these were a must for our meal. The special Valentine’s main courses did not disappoint either. He went for the filet mignon and I had the lobster risotto. Oh mah lawd! This was probably one of the best lobster dishes I have ever had. The sauce was so buttery/garlicy, I enjoyed every single bite. The filet mignon was just as tasty, cooked a perfect medium rare like we asked. Served with crab meat and a potato hash brown underneath, which I had not seen before either. Great combos of flavor that I have not experienced before. Last but not least, the dessert trio which included chocolate truffles, a pineapple coconut cake and baklava. The perfect ending along with some after dinner drinks. We received the best service and the best meal possible for this occasion. I could not have been happier! Well done!

Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about their specials/selections. We ordered the saganaki(flamed cheese), beef skewers, calamari, fried chicken and the sampler spread. To be honest, the best dish was the beef skewer and we weren’t even really looking forward to that! It was smoky and very rich in flavor. The calamari was a bit mushy and lacked flavor, and the fried chicken was okay but not fantastic. The sampler spread was nice but definitely better for a group. We also really enjoyed the saganaki and sangria :) The décor was quaint and the environment was calm and classy, but it was a bit too chilly inside that particular night. Overall, good place to eat but there are better Mediterranean restaurants.

Love, Ayse. Excellent service, great atmosphere. Great for large groups. Our favorite menu item is the saganaki: Kasseri cheese melted in a cast iron griddle, flamed with brandy at one’s table, flames doused with lemon. Most times, all we get is this kissed-by-god cheese + salad or skewer and some of those Greek cookies for dessert. We leave happy and satisfied. If the dining room is packed, we have had excellent service in the bar as well. In fact, if you’re getting a light meal like the one just described the bar might be the best choice. Ayse doesn’t quite make five stars for me simply because I’m not a huge fan of some of their Greek staples(e.g., baba ganoush, hummus). But that doesn’t keep me from coming back whenever I’m in the area.
