La Sierra Mexican Restaurant

Fantastic place! Food delicious. Service very inviting and great.
I had the Tres Enchiladas. (I only ate half of each… good idea ME!!)…Wanted to try the chicken, cheese and beef and this way I only ate 1.5. Salsa Very tasty. Clean, cozy little place in downtown Frazier Park.

Stopped in for lunch on Sunday, 12÷13÷15. Excellent service and fantastic food. The chile rellano was among the best. Victoria, the owner took the time to talk to us about her ingredient choice, as well as give some pointers on making mole poblano sauce.
We will be going back.

This was our first time here so we had no preconceptions. The staff were definitely friendly but I thought it was a little pricey when I looked at the menu. They do have a senior menu which is cheaper. We chose a couple of pina coladas that were only so so. I couldn’t taste any pineapple at all. The chips and salsa were ordinary but the salsa did have a little bite. Perhaps we should have chosen the margaritas. Oh well, next time. I chose the beef fajitas which was somewhat flavorful but slightly tough. My husband had the Rellenos Del Mar with shrimp, fish and crab. He thought they were good but the crab probably came from a can although the shrimp and fish (tilapia) were good but probably frozen. I thought they were a little bland. He thought the pepper was lacking in flavor and I thought it tasted like it came out of a can. All I can say is that it was ok but I have had better.

I’ve been here countless times for taco Tuesday’s and whatever else. My family loves Mexican food, and apparently, I’m the only one in my large family that can live without it. However, I’m not reviewing them on my lack of Mexican food taste, just on a fair review in general.
As a local on the mountain, everyone knows La Sierra and that damn taco Tuesday, where like usual, you can get taco’s for a dollar. I can literally eat a lot of these bad boys and not go broke (: yay
The food is OK, and the server always seems to remember my mother which is a plus. I’m just not thoroughly impressed as I miss authentic Mexican food, but again, I can live without it.
All in all, I do recommend!

My last visit was so great that I regret to rate this restaurant again with such a low one. The food is pretty tasty however the customer service tonight was horrible :/
My whole family had to sit ourselves, get our own menus, and were not attended to for a while. Just all very disappointing I don’t think I’ll return again, so unfortunate.

Good food, great service… Taco Tuesdays specials! The albondigas soup is delicious!
