Hiring this company quickly gave me piece of mind that all would be handled appropriately. I had a large flood at my hotel that caused over $ 250,000 damage and created large potential for liability. When we called Constructeam we were immediately connected with Joe Cipriano the owner of the company. Within minutes he calmed me down and explained what had to happen next. They were onsite shortly after and their lead responder, Mike Overholser walked me through the entire process and explained in great detail everything they were doing and why it was important and I immediately was feeling comfortable that I made the right choice. If you ever have a need for this type of service, this company will be a great choice! Thanks to Joe, Mike and all the Constructeam staff for your patience with me during this difficult time.

I reached out to ConstrucTeam to help in selecting, and installing the replacement marble sill and bathroom tile frame along with new windows. Saint Clair Shores homes were all built in the late 40’s and early 50’s and the original windows were a torturous aluminum frame and poor insulation. Andy came out and did a quick non-intrusive job of assessing and measuring the three replacement windows, and then within four days had the installers out with all the supplies and tools ready to go. Within 4 hours we had our situation turned around and completed. They not only met, but exceeded my expectations of performing this task. I am considering a couple more jobs related to replacing the primary doors of the house and will be calling them first to get the job handled!

Outstanding service!!! Had a flood at our building, talked to a guy named Mike, very responsive nice guy. The team made sure we were 100% informed on the processes they were doing and that I was comfortable before moving on. Quick, efficient, and out in no time. CLEANED everything on their way out, even things they didn’t touch :) HIGHLYRECOMMEND to anyone in that situation of distress!
My recommendation: do NOT use this company! If I could give them zero stars I would. I normally only review food. I have spent many months thinking if I should even review this company and if I could adequately convey my frustrations in words… It took me a few months, but since I keep thinking about it, it’s probably best to just do it. I strongly believe that this particular company needs to be reviewed so possible future clients know what they are getting themselves into. First, some background… I rent a condo in Troy and love it. It has a main floor and a basement. When the huge summer flood of 2014 came I conveniently was up north vacationing and was not home. So, hearing the news and seeing the thousands of FB photos of what was happening at home I cut my vacation short and headed back. We didn’t get hit nearly as hard as most everyone else. I would say we had about 1.5 inches of water. Some people who were affected had 5 feet or more of water. I was so thankful that it was a small hit to our belongings. When I got home, we immediately went to the store to get plastic storage containers, cleaning products, disinfectants, gloves, etc. We sifted through EVERYTHING and made piles what was to be disposed of. There were many things that didn’t even touch the water so we felt like we were lucky… Our landlord was super awesome and setup the team to come out. As you may have guessed, getting a company to come out as quick as they did was unheard of since everyone already booked their companies. Again, we felt super lucky… So when the team came their front man /leader(a younger boy, maybe in high school or just out?) explained what was going to happen and what they planned on doing. We explained that the two HUGE piles by the stairs were the ONLY items we were throwing out. EVERYTHING else was to stay and we would dispose of it ourselves, but honestly there wasn’t tons that touched the ground. All items that did, we pretty much tossed. I understand that the recommendation is to throw away everything, but … we wanted to go through our memories and part with them on our own time(photos, notes, childhood toys, etc.) The front man said he understood and he would NOT throw out anything without asking. That sounded good… until I saw another high school age boy carry out the vertical air conditioner(pretty expensive piece of equipment) out to their truck. I walked out of the condo to see if he set it by the side of the road and he didn’t. He took it straight to their truck. I asked them to bring it back and their response was, «oh you don’t want that.» Yeah… I kind of did. So, they brought it back and apologized for the mix up. OK. That’s fine. Mistakes happen. I get it. My roommate and I still felt pretty skeptical of them so we started going through the garbage bags of stuff they brought out for disposal. Through our findings we found many items that did not even touch the water or the ground that they just tossed out. Keep in mind NONE of these items were in the two HUGE piles that we told them were the ONLY things to be disposed of. So, I found my work clothes tossed in with disgusting sewage. These clothes were just on top of the washing machine. Maybe I’m overly complaining here, but women’s clothing is expensive. Especially if it’s professional attire. I also found tools my dad gave me thrown away. I mean… tools are metal and they were on a shelf… was it necessary to throw them away? There were other items just tossed in the garbage as well. The more I looked through the garbage bags the more upset I got. The kicker was, one of the boys came up to me and said, «Hey guess what? Good news! We will take all the garbage bags off your hands.» Of course they will. At this point I felt like I was being robbed. They apologized and I chalked it off as bad communication… and overall ignorance? I mean… the majority of them were small boys. Alright. So, they finally left and we were so relieved that they were done. We had a couple mishaps, but it was done. It was a ridiculously exhausting day, but it was over. Later, I went in the basement to go find my summer professional work clothes(because I was starting to teach soon) and that’s when I realized they were all gone. Yeah. ALL of them. So, I thought, «how did they get those past me when I was literally blocking the door?» My neighbor said they were taking bags out of the egress window and putting them in their truck that was parked on the other side of the condo. Obviously this was found out after the fact… I feel a bit invaded and quite honestly robbed. I am relatively pointed about my thoughts and opinions, but still a bit reserved because I don’t like confrontation and I do feel like people make honest mistakes. HOWEVER, the more time that goes by(and the more items I find missing) the more I feel a bit preyed upon. My heart goes out to those who lost so much during the flood.:
