We came and found it closed. Then we saw the note on the website confirming it. «It is with great sadness that we are forced to close Tastebuds Fresh Marketplace, effective, Thursday January 15, 2015. Unequivocally the best sandwich I have EVER tasted; fresh ingredients, fast and friendly service and a great value to boot! Thank you so much for bringing your talent and services to our area! I also love that you offer prepared foods and prime cuts of meat. We will certainly be visiting regularly!

We need more places like this! I went in to only get a panini but after seeing the chicken Parmesan and seeing the Steak tips I had to get them. Everything was amazing. I loved the panini! It was perfect! The steak tips full of falvor! Very nice people that own the place.

Great place for really nice sandwiches. Friendly staff that really cares about the quality and service. Close to 495 — great place to pick up food and head for the beach or picnic.

Great sandwiches at good prices — perfect spot for a quick lunch on-the-go. No seating available, you just walk in and order. In addition to the menu items they also operate as a butcher and cheese shop with items available behind the counter; they also have pastas, jams, wine, and craft beer, all from local sources. Very clean inside.

i initially like this place. Got steak tips, cheese, and some prepared dishes. The prepared food was small, expensive and not very good. The tips were good. The second time i went back — the hours had changed to close at 5:30. Looks like i cannot use this place for last minute dinner plans since i do not get back to Franklin in time for the hours of operation. Big disappointment.

Went in last week to see what they had since I drive by while getting coffee every morning. Got a pound of marinated steak tips and some tortellini salad for my husband and I to have for dinner. They had 3 kinds and all looked good. They were tender and tasty. We both enjoyed them and will try another kind soon! I’m also looking forward to the fresh bread and sandwiches!

Got a pastrami sandwich today and I have to say it is probably the best pastrami I’ve ever had and I get it a lot! Also got 3 ciabatta rolls for $ 1.50 that are super fresh. Can’t wait to grill them for sandwiches. I’m very happy with today’s sandwich!

Outstanding customer service. Really nice décor. They have a corner space and make exceptional use out of it — they had their doors on each side wide open which was perfect on a day like today. The deli(Boar’s Head) had a pretty decent selection, and they serve wine and beer as well. I ordered the Tuscan Tuna Salad Wrap on tomato basil. They describe it as «flaked albacore tuna, cannellini beans, and scallions in a lemon vinaigrette.» Ratios are all-around perfect, the lemon vinaigrette compliments the tuna very well. For $ 7.99, however, I know some may argue that similar delis would offer a small side as well — so a bag of chips or small potato salad(which I did see they offer separately) might be a nice touch. The wrap was good, but didn’t blow me away; I will definitely return to try a panini or homemade soup. Overall a good experience.
