I love going here. The prices are decent, the food is delicious. And you get a lot of food for the price you pay. The customer service is good too. Overall, it’s a great lunch spot.

We ordered delivery and they are very very fun set during a weekday dinner hour! The cheesy bread was good and the pizza was very different — the dough is very fluffy and the topping taste very fresh. Will definitely be back but next time I want to go in personally and check it out.

Worst place to ever get pizza. The owner berates and cusses out employees in front of customers. Oddly enough they have an American flag hanging in the restaurant but they proudly discuss how they hate Americans and Christians in particular. I would never step foot in this place ever again. If you’re looking for good pizza go to Brooklyn Brothers. Don’t waste a dollar on this horrible place.

I am from up north and have searched the Nashville and surrounding areas for some good pizza and have not found anything even close to NY style until I moved to Franklin and found this place. This really hit the spot and tastes how pizza should!

HIGHLYRECOMMEND! And I am def a pizza CRITIC… I wanted to try their cheesy bread but I said cheese sticks which translated into mozzarella sticks! Wish I would have paid attention! Got the calzone without ricotta & it was amazing the ends didn’t have much cheese or toppings but prob to be expected? CHECKTHISSPOTOUT! I took it to go and the vibe seemed super cool! Also I’m really picky about pepperoni and theirs was GOOD!!! ///seriously, I cannot stop thinking about this place ///

Sal’s has become a weekly habit for me. Nothing beats the 2 slices and a drink combo for a quick lunch — to the point where I find myself there 2 – 3 times a week sometimes. Great NY-style pizza, friendly staff and good prices to top it off.

Best pizza I have had in TN. I love their meatballs and the salads are really great too. It certainly does have the family feel also, super friendly and helpful staff.

Good homemade crust that is hand tossed. Pizza has a great flavor & crust is done well. Friendly family staff. Quick service and cooked to order. The restaurant is clean. The price is right too! A great place and great alternative to the chain pizza places.

This is my second review and again this will receive five stars. My husband ordered, I just picked up and OMG, everything is perfection! While waiting for our food when I picked up(which took only a few minutes) I watched the guys making the pizzas and calzones. Though I only watched for a few minutes I could tell they were cooking for perfection. So delicious!!!

I really like Sal’s. In a world of Domino’s and Papa John’s, it’s nice to have a neighborhood pizza joint where you can sit down and enjoy some great pizza and beer. A big plus is you can bring in a bottle of wine and there’s no corkage fee. The pizza is tasty and the pasta looks great — I haven’t had the pasta personally, but I see a lot of people ordering it. They also have a gluten-free pizza crust which is awesome since my wife cannot eat gluten. The place is small and gets crowded if you don’t come early. If I had to nit-pick, I personally would like the pizza cooked a little longer with a little more flavor to the crust. All the toppings are a la carte — it would be nice if they had a few more specialty pizzas. With that, my family and I love Sal’s and will continue to go often.

ermahgerd! I love pizza. And I’m a huge critic of it. This pizza is awesome if you’re looking for a good, New York style, flat, foldable, giant pizza loaded with toppings. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The crust didn’t get soggy from the sauce. It was the perfect balance of cheese, sauce and toppings. I wish I had taken a picture. It was a beautiful pizza. Also the staff was super helpful and friendly which I am very observant to. I ordered like 6 huge pizzas and they helped me carry them out to my car. Good customer service makes me want to go back even more. I’ve had a great experience each time and look forward to going back!

Just moved here from Brooklyn and was very relieved to have found Sal’s! Nothing worse than delivery chains like Papa Johns and Dominos so we gave Sal’s a try. Fresh, delicious, not too greasy and perfectly seasoned! Perfectly foldable with a tasty crust. Even better than most of our NYC delivery spots. Only negative is that we wanted delivery and they said it was busy and would be 1.5 hours… So we had to pick it up! Granted it was a Saturday. Will definitely be our regular pizza spot regardless!

We love this place! A great family restaurant with great thin crust pizza. I recommend Sal’s to anyone in the Franklin area.

This is my go to spot for pizza in Franklin. The pizza is always perfect. They also have a good selection of pasta and sandwiches, but the pizza is hard to beat. It is a thinner crust and you can see them hand tossing the dough from the dining room. Their servers are friendly and helpful whether you are eating in, taking out or calling for delivery.

This our go-to stop for pizza in Franklin. My family and all have different taste preferences so we all get something different. The staff has always been friendly and courteous. This is the only place where my 6 year old daughter will eat almost 3 pieces by herself. As a family who loves pizza, this is the place for us.

Headed there on fri night and they got us in easily. Pizza was good. Service was really awful unfortunately. We finally had to walk up and ask them to come take our order and then even after walking back up and asking them to bring us our bill, we waited 20 more minutes and had to finally walk up to counter and tell them we were leaving and needed to pay. There were no people in the place so no excuse for such poor service. I really wanted to like this place.

Looks like — perhaps I should say, «tastes» like Sal’s is back; back to making great pizza and a whole lot more. This family-friendly pizza shop may have and a small hiccup in its quest to bring their customers the best, when they changed their dough recipe and also switched from pre-made to hand-breading their calamari. But that little bump in the road has disappeared. Sal’s has everything you would want for a quick lunch break, dinner with the family, or FUN time for the kids after a ball game. Sal’s starts by doing their pies«your way»… order the toppings and desired«doneness» for your pie and Sal’s will make it happen. Check the lunch special on the dry-erase board: usually a couple of slices and a drink, or a special sub, or maybe just a salad — all for a great price. My all-time favorite remains — the«Eggplant Parmigiana»…breaded, tender slices of eggplant smothered in savory sauce and topped with bubbly cheese. You can have it as a filling appetizer or full-blown meal with pasta and a salad. Jalapeño Poppers really do «pop» with flavor-crisply fried coating, and creamy cheese filling to temper the heat of the peppers just right. Did I mention their sauces are homemade? You bet they are! And, they’re good.(On our most recent visit our 16 month old grandson grabbed a(partial) cup of marinara from the table and licked it clean. It’s that good.) The pizza crust is New York style — you can order it thin, well done and then hold it up — it won’t flop onto your lap. Another plus: the puffy, bubbly rim; that’s good yeast-raised pizza. By the way, «well-done» is just that… not scorched or burned… it’s beautifully browned, well done! Wings…are just ok. But, there are plenty of other options for great appetizers as well as full meals. Salad? Absolutely! The Antipasto is classic… and a good size to boot. Travel note: Hand-breaded calamari — best eaten on the spot; it doesn’t carry well if you have it as a take-out.(Hot out of the deep fryer its’s great. But for carry-out it steams a bit in the travel pan and loses some of its crunch.) Don’t forget dessert — Sal’s has that covered too. That is, if you have room.
