This is a hole in the wall type of place. It is not a food truck, but that is the vibe. No table seating, just a countertop that you can sit at and enjoy the awesome food. Amazing pasta’s and sauces. So, glad to have this place in Franklin. Everything is made fresh by the owner/chef and he knows his pasta.

Excellent customer service, short wait, and delicious food. I’ll be visiting this place again. 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals for less than $ 30

Stopped here on our way home from vacation. Eric, the owner, was there. Super personable, knowledgable and such hospitality! Food was excellent! Currently limited seating, but he is planning on renovating this year to expand seating. Definitely a future stop as we travel through Franklin, TN!

I’m actually rather surprised that this place has so many five star reviews. I had heard a lot about this restaurant and was excited to try it out. The person who handled ed by order came across as rude and snappy. That bothered me, but I thought maybe she was just having a bad day or something. The place wasn’t busy at the time. The food appears to have been made from scratch. I was disappointed with the food after so much hype. The Garlic bread was actually pretty good, but it was extremely rich and salty. The pasta was overcooked and the Alfredo was completely flavorless. I really wanted to like this place. I adore pasta, but it just wasn’t good. I will likely go back one more time if a friend wants to try it out or something. Maybe it will be better then. If it is, I will gladly change my review.

The food is amazing, my family and I were in town for the weekend, and found Pasta & Cream based on their reviews here on Unilocal. It lived up to the hype! you pick your pasta, meat type and sauce. Your meal is then made to order. Pros: — great pasta dishes!!! — nice staff –options for the whole family — ice cream served Cons: –limited seating

Tried this place last night and won’t return. Pasta was overcooked, sauces were okay, meatballs were mediocre. Not sure where the practice of breaking your pasta prior to cooking it came from, but IMHO I’d prefer the pasta in one piece as the Italians intended it to be eaten. Had I known that was the habit, I’d have asked for the pasta to be unbroken and cooked al dente. Eric seemed very nice and personally I’d enjoy seeing any small business like this succeed, but with the current menu and cooking practices, not sure of that happening.

Omg. First I want to mention that I’ve seen the sign for pasta and cream for about two years now but never stopped in. It’s in a strip mall area next to a great clips where I used to get my haircut. The girl that used to cut my hair would rave about it but it was never near me during lunch time since I worked in Brentwood. For whatever reason, my husband and I decided to try it last week. I was pretty excited because I had always seen awesome reviews on Unilocal and never heard a bad story about it from friends. Just a quick side note, there is only one table in there and some bar style seating around the room which leads me to believe this is primarily a take out joint. The man who took our order was very nice and obviously passionate about his business. He explained which ones were his favorite, which he would recommend for our first time, and was super patient while I couldn’t make up my mind. I got the buffalo sauce, blue cheese something… With the blackened chicken which was amazing! They do serve their food on «to go» ware with plastic silverware. I also got the cheesy bread which was pretty good and great for sopping up the sauce in my bowl. I couldn’t believe how good it was. Actually I can. They make everything there to order. All the sauces, all the chicken, everything. It’s as fresh as you can get it like cooking in your own kitchen. They could easily add a couple of dollars onto their menu prices which makes this a phenomenal option if you’re looking to save a little bit of money on a date night haha I would definitely 100% go back to this place. And I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys pasta with a cream-based sauce.

The reason I gave 4 stars was because the pasta was overdone. I do think it is a good value and the staff were very friendly. Would probably get take out again.

Loved the food at Pasta and Cream. The people that run this place are excellent at what they do. The lady that waited on us was also personable and very professional. I recommend the Cajun sauce and any pasta with the blackened chicken and then getting tiramisu for dessert!

I have to say that, even with all the stellar Unilocal reviews, I was leery of this place. It’s kind of in a strip mall next to a pawn shop, and it’s mostly a carry-out and delivery place. However, all of my fears were allayed upon meeting the owner. He is clearly passionate about his customers and his food. We have ordered from here a handful of times so far, and we will be doing so for many years to come. The food is fresh(cooked to order) and absolutely delicious!

Okay… I’ve held out way too long to contribute a very deserving, awesome review for a real gem of a place here in Franklin. Think of the most delicious, gourmet pasta dish you’ve ever tasted and add a bit of personality; that describes how I feel about this place and the food they provide. I’ve had more than 50 dinners from here in the past couple of years, and my whole family loves it! I’ll warn you ahead of time, you’ll see when you arrive that it is more tailored for call in and pick up(and they also deliver) as they don’t have much seating; although, I have eaten in a couple of times. But, I’m telling you… eat here, and you will go back again… and again.

Seriously Nashville, check this place out! The owner, Eric, is so nice. The service is phenomenal, as is the food. Gluten free? He has you covered! Weird dietary restrictions? He’s on it! He pays close attention to specific needs and does so with a smile. Everything I have tried is amazingly fabulous! The second you walk thru the door, you are family. Love this place! Plan on getting your food to go since it is a small place with minimal dine-in tables. Nothing fancy but who needs that when you have glorious food?!?

Like others have said, this is really good food. The owner doesn’t pretend to be an authentic Italian, but he used to be in catering and makes damn good food from scratch for under $ 10. I’ve had the carbonara and the Felour, and I much preferred the Felour, not that I disliked the carbonara at all. My date tried tomato basil and I had a bite, and for the first time in a long time I felt like I was putting fresh tomatoes right in my mouth. It was very tasty. Everyone has mentioned the take out thing — he puts all good in to go containers that are nicer than most. I’d come here at least once /week if I lived closer.

Yummy and fast for lunch service. My coworkers and I ordered lunch here a few weeks ago and the service and food were together, great! The Cajun penne pasta was spot on with the right about of spice! Yum yum! They deliver fairly swiftly too!

Ordered take out from here for 4 adults and 1 kid. It was delish! Eric was so nice on the phone when we placed our order. You choose your sauce and then you choose from 4 pasta choices: penne, fettuccine, spaghetti or angel hair. He explained that everything is made fresh and that it would take about 20 – 25 minutes. I had the Ivan’s vodka sauce with penne and added grilled chicken. It was one of the best ala vodkas that I’ve ever had. The portion was a perfect size; I ate about ¾ of it and my husband finished all of his. We also ordered the cheesy garlic bread(2 orders and each came with 2 pieces so we each had our own piece) and the house salads. The house salads were huge! We ordered 2 of them for 4 adults but probably only needed 1. Glad we tried this place. It’s a great option for an easy dinner. Plus, it was very reasonably priced!

Wow! Just go here. Some of the best alfredo I’ve ever had at the fraction of the price you’ll have to pay at other restaurants. Like really blew my mind. The owner is awesome, the cook was very nice and greeted me as well. This place is on my way home, glad I have a gym membership. If you don’t try this place, I don’t think we can be friends anymore. I ordered a couple of their pastas and they were all great. They cook the dishes fresh to order, and you can definitely taste the quality, and you can sense the establishments passion for their food. The strip mall there located in is rinky dink, but thats not a con, its a pro, I LOVE places like this. Do yourself a favor and try it, if you don’t, years and years later on your death bed, you’ll regret it. **Also, takeout is the way to go here.

OUTSTANDING. Man. I am SOOOO Glad i found this place on Unilocal. When i arrived it was a packed house — a family was there and also a couple so there was no sitting room. it smelled so good when i came in that I couldnt decide what i wanted to have so i ordered two things! I got the spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs and the Angel hair with Carbonara sauce and blackened chicken. I also ordere some garlic cheese bread. The gentleman told me that it would take about 25 minutes to cook since everything he makes is fresh. I read that in the comments so i expected it. SOOOOOOOOOOOO Worth the wait. EVERYTHING was delicious. i will definitely stop by there on my way to the airport tomorrow. Again, I am glad that i Unilocaled pasta because i was considering going to Carrabbas or the cheesecake factory… i got both dishes and my bread for about 20 bucks. Of course i didnt finish any of it… one dish would have been more than enough for a meal and leftover for lunch tomorrow. if you are a little leary about a place in a strip mall… dont be. its soo good, and if you dont try it… you will miss out an opportunity to try some of the best pasta in the nation.

This tiny little place is a gem for affordable prices and great service. We ordered to-go, knowing the dine-in space is limited. We were told 20 – 25 minutes to prep the order, and the meal was ready when we arrived. Dan got penne carbonara with chicken and a Caesar salad. I got fettuccine with tomato sauce and meatballs. We also got garlic bread. The meatballs were my favorite part of the dish. Really juicy and good! I can’t say that I could tell the pasta was house made by its looks, but it tasted pretty good.(I recently ate at upscale Moto in Nashville and the pasta was fresher.) For a local small biz, I was pleased. The garlic bread could be a bit less salty, but it complemented the meal. I don’t know that we will be regulars, but now I know where I can get a pasta fix when I need it. You can get a dish for under $ 9. I actually had enough for leftovers that I ate next-day for lunch. I’d rate it 4 Stars for the Cool Springs/Franklin-not-downtown area.

I found myself in Franklin for work in the evening hours. I was hungry after having skipped lunch. I got on Unilocal and looked for nearby restaurants. Saw this place and thought I should try. I am well pleased. I went in and ordered. It’s small on the inside. More catered towards take out. You order your choice of pasta and your choice of sauce and whether or not you want meat. I chose Penne, with Cajun sauce and grilled chicken. It took him about 10 – 15 minutes to make. I assume it’s because it’s made fresh. They have a selection of salads, ice cream and desserts too. But I just got the pasta. Forgot to get a drink. Oops. When it did come out, it came out in a take out plastic bowl.(More catered towards takeout) Chicken was tender and moist. The pasta was fresh. The sauce was excellent and peppery. There were onions and bell peppers too. I cleaned my plate. I want to try all the other sauces now! Edit: 15÷12÷15 — They don’t have water on tap to drink. Only bottles. Plus side, it’s only a dollar. But I like to drink so I typically drink more than 500ml Also, be sure and bring headphones if you’re dining in. They were playing awful county music inside. The food makes up for it though.
