I loved this place! Music City Dog House has recently closed down but I heard they might be relocating to a different location. I used to go here for lunch all the time and anything you order is amazing. They specialize in hot dogs, but everything else on the menu is also amazing. I never got a bad meal there. Also the staff and owners are super nice. PROS –Amazing hot dogs and other foods! –Super friendly staff and owners –Lots of menu options –Unique menu items –Tons of condiment choices –Very clean CONS –None! TIPS –The prices might seem high for a hot dog place, but the food quality it top notch and tasty and well worth the price.

I have never met a hot dog I didn’t like, and Music City Doghouse did not disappoint. Tucked neatly into the Factory in Franklin, this gem serves only Vienna beef in it’s dogs. My choice of the evening was the Singer/Songwriter, a dog topped with shredded mozzarella, freshly cut tomato slices, chopped basil and drizzled with balsamic. Heaven in a hot dog, ladies and gents! The bun to dog ratio was perfect — I hate when there’s too much bread and not enough meat! I also got fries with my dog, which were equally delicious. Some people mentioned it being pricey, but given the location it wasn’t terribly outrageous. The owners were working while I was there and were very nice. They asked several times how everything was and if I needed anything. I got to chat with them a little, and hopefully they wind up able to bring a second Doghouse to Nashville!

Visited Music City Dog House yesterday. Place is nice and the food was ok — but our bill for 2 corn dogs, 1 veggie dog, 1 chip bag, and 1 drink was $ 22! That is outrageous. The corndogs were $ 5.95 with no drink and no chips. … I’m sorry but that’s excessive. Will not be going back. Not to mention, the people working the counter were not one ounce of friendly. If I’m paying $ 6 for a hot dog the LEAST you can do is smile. Won’t ever ever return!

Get the fry seasonings. As far as the dog… great bread, great frank, & the perfect chili that doesn’t overwhelm the other flavors.

This place has really taken a turn for the worse. First, was a serious language barrier at the cash register. I’m not generally impatient, but this was pretty bad. I had a feeling the order would get screwed up and it did. Second, the chili cheese fries, when I had ordered just cheese fries, were a bit of a soggy mess and the cheese wasn’t melted. Rather than send them back we just dealt with it. The fries used to be the stars of the show here. Not now. In fact, there is no star of the show anymore. Third, my brat was split and grilled, but half of one half was missing. No way I would let that go out of the kitchen if I was the cook. All in all a big let down. Probably will not darken their door again. I guess I’ll have to drive to Nashville to get a decent dog. What a shame.

I needed a quick lunch on the go while running errands in The Factory. An employee at the Viking Cooking Store recommended Music City Dog House. All their dogs on the menu have music-themed names. I ordered the Singer/Songwriter which promised a dog with basil, tomato, mozzarella and balsamic. «Ooh! A caprese hot dog!» I thought. But my excitement turned to disappointment when I saw dried basil instead of fresh and shredded mozzarella from a bag instead of fresh. Other reviewers really liked the corn dogs and Tornado Potatoes. Maybe I need to give them another shot, but I’m not really in much of a hurry to go back.

I was excited to try this place after my fiancé recommended it to me while working on wedding stuff at The Factory. I ordered a corn dog and french fries, and both were delicious. The corn dog was the first one I had ever eaten that was not at a fair. The taste left me wanting more. The fries were nice and crisp, just the way I like them. The staff is very friendly and recommended the corn dog to me, saying it was one of their favorites, and I am glad they told me this. I hope to come back soon and try more of their food! :)

Finally got around to trying this place after hearing so much about it. While not the traditional New York hot dog, this place is still amazingly delicious. For what they do, it takes a lot of guts, and they do it well. What is it exactly that they do? The take the hot dog and are the only place I know of, that instead of mimicking other well loved hot dog styles, create a style all their own that can best be described as authentic, Middle Tennessee hot dog cuisine. I had what can best be described as a caprese salad on a hot dog, it is pure deliciousness. You can tell the food is really fresh and is made to order as it comes out piping hot. The fries here are also nice and crisp and they overall have a great selection of dogs, even a make your own. All in all this place is absolutely delicious and I look forward to trying them again soon. For starters I really want to try their spiral potatos on a stick and their cheese sticks on my next visit.

Best hot dog I’ve ever eaten and the fries were good, too. Was a little pricier than I expected, but the portion was big and it was delicious so I’d likely eat there again. I took mine to go, but I did notice they have a smaller seating area, so if you’re taking the whole family and they’re busy, you may not have a place to eat inside the restaurant itself. You could find a place within the Factory, though, pretty easily.

A long way for me to for a good Hot Dog. At this point I compare all of my hot dog joints against Cori’s DogHouse. The actual Hot Dog here was probably better, but nobody has yet defeated Cori’s Texas Toast Bun. The place is a bit small, and the Factory itself is a bit busy. We waited a bit for our dog, but they brought it out to us. I don’t know that you’d want to make a special trip just for Music City Dog, but it was very good.

Best hot dog in Tennessee. Among the best customer service of any quick-service restaurant in the greater Nashville area. These guys are outstanding. As a business owner, I respect the family that runs the Dog House for what they do… and you can feel, right when you walk into the restaurant, that you’re in a cool, unique place. Oh, and again, they have the best hot dog in Tennessee. GOTHERE. YOUWON’T BESORRY.

I had every intention of giving this two stars, because of how upset I am at them. They are extremely inflexible, not particularly friendly, and overburdened with advertising the Vienna Beef brand. I asked about a rather plain dog, asking for my favorite(ketchup and onions), and they quoted me a price which was higher than their chili cheese dog. Since it ended up being cheaper, I ordered the chili cheese dog, but I was miffed. But when I ate the dog, it really was outstanding. I devoured it because it was that good. But that doesn’t change the fact that their inflexible stupidity. If you’re hungry, and you’re already at the Factory, it’s a decent choice, I guess, but if you’re even in downtown Franklin or Cool Springs, don’t bother.
