Overall, very nice salon. Clean, prompt service, big color selection of name brand products. I’ve been here twice and had a different tech each time.
I like nail designs. The first time I came, tech #1 who did my design didn’t quite do what I wanted, but my nails were still pretty. This time, I brought a picture of what I wanted and tech #2 pretty much matched the picture (with the exception of not using a glitter polish for the highlight of my design because the manager (?) didn’t tell her to. It seemed pretty obvious in the picture that I provided.
My only thing is that, for promoting nail designs as they do on their Facebook page, I have felt like I’m asking too much, like it’s an inconvenience. I knew that the highlight should have been done in red glitter polish, but I was afraid to mention it — that’s what I mean when I say that it feels like an inconvenience. I will add that I provided a link to an image of the design that I wanted when I booked my appointment online — I thought that would help to give them time to prepare (at least mentally).
The other thing is that they have a stamp card that earns a $ 5 discount when filled. I didn’t get one the first time I was in, so I asked for one today. When she stamped it (ended up being tech #1 who took my payment for my second visit), I asked if I could have a stamp for the first time I was in two weeks ago in addition to today’s stamp. She said «No». No reason why, just «No». :-/​
I intend to come back because I like the salon and want to give them a good chance. Maybe when I’m more of a «regular», I will have better experience with talking about designs. They treat their regulars better.
My real rating is 3.5 stars.

After paying $ 48 for a Shellac Manicure, my nails lasted 10 days before they completely started peeling off. I was told they would last 2 – 3 weeks, so I went in to see if they would fix them and I was then told that Shellac Manicures can last up to only 10 days. I will not be going back to Glitz again and would suggest people to go somewhere else for a better quality manicure and pay a lower price.

Very pricey however the person who did my nails was super nice and kept me laughing! Probably one of the nicest nail techs I’ve had. That being said I received a gel manicure and on the 5^th day my nails were already chipping. I’ve had many (other places) and they always last about 3 weeks. For the price I’m really bummed they didn’t last. I would have definately went back. Maybe it was the gel brand…

They do a good job. But they are very pricey. Love the atmosphere there, very stylish.

I tried Glitz because I really needed the acrylic nails I had put on for my wedding taken off (they were driving me nuts), it is close to my house, and was reasonably priced based on a glance at their website.
The décor inside the salon is nice; clean, and recently remodeled. The website is attractive, clearly laid out and provides all the pricing information for you prior to going into the salon, which I really appreciate.
I made an appointment, and when I got there, I only had to wait a few minutes before being set to soak my hands in acetone (which is what they use to soften the acrylic nail before removing it). The technician who took them off was fairly quiet, but friendly. She was very gentle with sander used to remove the acrylic nails, and it didn’t hurt at all.
Based on my experience, I would definitely return here to try other services like a spa pedicure or shellac manicure.

I have been going here for quite a while now. I really love it here and the staff are friendly and great. I have been to many other nail salons and yes they may be cheaper in some things, but the quality and service is nowhere comparable. I love going in and being able to conversate with them and they understand what i want done and are very understanding. Anytime i go in, there is nothing but compassion and great customer service. I always go to get my nails filled/​painted and usually a pedicure. Love how modern and up to date it is there. =)

I am not one to write a review unless I was absolutely mortified or if i was really impressed and I was quite impressed with my mani and pedi that Kathy provided. I am a hairstylist and do nails myself and when its my turn to be on the other side of a service i expect the best cause thats what i feel i do for my customers. I got a Spa Mandrin-​Honey pedicure and it was wonderful and Kathy gave a great massage, i didnt feel like she was ruhsing to get me done at all and really took care of my stressed feet. I have never found a nail person that i kept going back to because they were just okay, but i will say i will be back to this girl as much as i can. The place was cute and relaxing, great massage chairs, had a wide variety of colors including the newer collections, and i was serviced right away. My only complaint is I called to make an appointment and i had to call a few times before the phone was answered. Im glad i got this place recommended to me. Definitely see Kathy

I have been going to Glitz since they opened and would never go anywhere else. They do a great job with reasonable prices. Ken, Nipha and the rest of the staff are all very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you are happy with their service. Highly recommend them!

Okay, first of all this place is not clean. The owner is very rude and they lied about their prices when I asked what the price was for a fill (25 when I asked and 33 when I had to pay). I was given a sangria from the owner and it had fruit flies flying out of it. The girl who did my nails hit me with the hand piece she was using and had NO clue what she was doing! When I told the owner about my experience at his salon he told me «I should go somewhere else then» Really!!! I will and I go to empress nail in oak creek. Clean, respectful, caring owners that ARE licensed! Go somewhere else and spend your money, not here!
