I have lived at Alara River Oaks for almost three years. While my rent has increased over time, I still love living here. My apartment had a great layout, and I have a prime spot overlooking the courtyard and near the pool and gym. The new gym renovation really improved the space! Our apartment managers know me by name, and our maintenance guy is great. They have made a number of improvements over time here (updated clubhouse, dog park, gym, porch lights, and more) and they have some nice resident events.
You avoid the Mack Hatcher traffic by coming up Royal Oaks too, which is a plus! It is a smaller, less flashy, older complex than some of the others in the area, but I wouldn’t prefer another!
We have no intention of moving, unless the rent gets out of control. The trend is moving that way at all the complexes in Franklin.
