I would never go back.
Exercise print-​outs are incomplete and near impossible to get. They do not ask about your pain on a scale of 1 – 10. They have no final evaluation to compare to your initial state. There’s he-​said & she-​said, rather than professionalism.
Judge for yourself:
My physical therapist could not keep up with what exercises I had done with her or never done at all. She kept insisting that I’d exercised on the elliptical during one of the visits. In reality, I would never step foot near that machine because of how much it hurt me years ago. until the end she was still hallucinating that I had exercised on that machine.
There were exercises that I could never in a million years do except with bands to assists me. On my last day, months in, I discovered that she believed I was doing the exercise bands-​free all long. she still believes this. I told her, I showed her. To no avail. If you wont listen to your patients why are you here? On the last day, on my way out, I suddenly crumpled over in half in front of reception, as a result of trying that exercise bands-​free only 3 times, trying to prove to her «I can’t do it! and I haven’t been doing it!» She would know what I was capable of if she’d spent time watching me do the exercises each visit, rather than delegating that to assistants who obviously didn’t take notes, and who also didn’t watch me do more than 1 or 2 of the listed exercises. (By the way, no one batted an eyelash when I suddenly doubled over).
The care had slowly deteriorated. By the last 3 weeks, no one was checking on my performance of new or old exercises, my form, etc. They put me in a side room and would forget/​neglect to come back. They forgot all about the unreachable equipment that they needed to pull out for me. Sometimes they’d come over if I complained of extreme pain repeatedly. Usually, the pain wasn’t taken seriously. Once I was whimpering and a passing assistant asked if I was ok? I said no and shook my head. He simply walked away to another patient.
and that is just some of the issues.
