ZEROSTARSWOULDBEMOSTACCURATE. Front desk clerk was adamant we had no reservation in their system. When she located it over a half hour later, she sent us to a smoking room when we had specifically booked a non smoking room. We were so exhausted we didn’t want to deal with her again until we got some sleep, and figured we’d switch the room for our second night. When we approached the front desk the [different] clerk insisted we should have brought up the issue immediately instead of settling in. Have I mentioned all the staff is extremely unfriendly, uncordial, and the customer service is in the toilet? We were on our way out to meet family from out of town – out of the country, actually– when we stopped by the front desk to ask that our room be switched to non smoking for that night. After admonishing us for delaying to point out their blunder of mistakingly sticking us in a smoking room, she insisted we go get our things and switch on the spot. After a prolonged exchange we managed to convince her to switch us out later in the evening. When we got back to the hotel that night and approached the desk, with yet another different clerk, we were tired and didn’t feel like going through the hassle of switching rooms so we asked that, to make up for all the inconvenience, we please get an extra late checkout. She acquiesced, and then we got a phone call the next day telling us we should be checked out by now and there was no note on the room for a late checkout. Rude, inconsiderate staff, our blankets had cigarette burns, in addition to being paper-thin(and no extra blanket in the closet), messed up booking, refusal to accept any responsibility, lack of empathy, arrogance, indifference, and an overall complete void of hospitality. Would not ever stay here again, even for free.

Do NOT stay here if you want reliable transportation to and from the airport. Shuttle to the airport was 30 minutes late(the manager is aware of the situation and does nothing about it according to the individual at the front desk.), and we had to wait 45 minutes to be picked up at the airport. Our room was clean and quiet. The WIFI did not work(other patrons had the same experience and when using the computer in the lobby the person at the front desk said it was exceedingly slow) and the telephone in the room did not work. Had to use our cell phone to call the front desk regarding WIFI and the TV.

I really hate to do this… but having checked most of the hotel rating website, I feel rather obligated to call for people attention to this location, for I found their service has been overrated at different travel sites in terms of the cleanness, shuttle service and employees’ courtesy). I want to help other viewers to put things in perspective. Here are the photos I took from the bedbug nightmare last night. Because of that, we had to change from room 400 to a second room. Luckily, we didn’t find any situation alike in the other room. But the emotion strain caused by this late night moving is bad enough for me and my family. And by far, I am still worried if we will be bringing any bugs home and how to quarantine ourselves. I really hope no more out-of-towners will end up the same in the future. I was impressed with the quality of the hotel in this neighborhood. First the building and lobby were well-kept up and very modern Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were awesome I enjoyed the breakfast provided hit the spot. Same quality as those big hotels close to the airport but much less then the cost. Maria thank you very much for your hospitality
