When my kids were little they participated in sports, dances, camps and various events sponsored by the Frankfort Park District. I think they do a terrific job with activities for the under 14 set.
I also see a number of activities that look enjoyable for Senior Citizens in their brochures. I also think they have great parks for sports and dogs. However, I don’t see a lot that interests me and perhaps that is my fault, I should be more open to new activities.
What I really wish the Frankfort Park District included in its repertoire was an out door pool. Yes, I know there are pools at the High Schools, I use them. Yes, I know there is a pool at the Country Club but I am not that rich. I drive to Park Forest for a summer park district facility with a terrific Adult only lap pool. Wouldn’t that be great for here in Frankfort?
Anyone? Bueller? Anyone with me on this idea?
