Walked in for a value meal. I appreciate that my food was made when I got there, had to wait a few minutes but it’s better hot! Seems to be an old location/building as is with most It’s more of a carry out. The woman that helped me was very pleasant and accommodating. I’ll be back!

Yes, the spot is old and needs some refreshing but when I walked in there was a guy continuously cleaning. My husband was adamant that we not try this spot due to the bad reviews but I wanted to give them a try. I asked for my food to be made fresh in which they gladly accommodated. Chicken was hot, fresh and good. Love the mushrooms and mashed potatoes.

My guest and I just had the worst most saltiest chicken in our lives! Called the manager and she said she would only give me 10% discount. She went and tasted the chicken in the store and said it was fine. We had our chicken at our house already 35 miles away otherwise I would of brought it back right away. I told her I have ordered from them many times from them and never had chicken this bad. I told her I was going to corporate. She said she would give me 15% off. I told her I wanted all new chicken and she was sticking to the 15% off only. What a JOKE!!! I was expecting all new pieces!

How Is this place still in business? The dumb cashiers have no clue. I was there years ago, and I vowed NEVER to go there again. Reason is I was there to order Chicken, and they had NONE!!! WTF??? who owns this place, they have no clue what’s going on. Anyway, my wife goes there knowing they Suck at everything they do. Guess what, they don’t have any chicken legs. Idiots!!! She is the only person there, and they forget multiple items in her carryout. I would go back to complain, but for what? will anything change? Please go out of business!

Not sure why all these ppl are complaining but I had excellent service and food at this location. I love browns and always visit the location in highland, IN. I was in the area and decided to make a stop at this Frankfort location and I’m glad I did. Amazing fresh fried chicken. Definitely coming back.

This had better be the best chicken I’ve ever eaten. Eight piece dinner for $ 27!!! Are they joking? Chicken was decent. The sides were tiny for $ 3.99 each. Overall, I won’t be returning. I can get the same at Jewel for ½ the price.

I continually say I am not going back to this dump, and now I am done. The place is filthy and each and every time I have been in there, I have to wait at least 10 minutes and at times much longer for food. If all you sell is chicken, how do you NOT have chicken made at the dinner hour? Tonight it was waiting for chicken only to then be told another so many minutes for biscuits. I opted for breadsticks just to get out of there. It is THE most mismanaged place around.

I went there on Saturday evening and the place was filthy. Layers of dust under the pop machine(which is a good 3 inches off the counter so very visible) and the cash register. The wood trim/baseboards were caked with dirt. The fryer area had old yellow/brown grease caked around the screws and back of the fryer. A switch over the fryer was black with dirt. Not one single one of the lackadaisical bored teens working as cooks and food preparers had a head covering, hat, net, or visor on. Never going back again. Wrote to Brown’s Corporate and their answer was«They are independently owned so we will let the manager know and they«hope he looks into it and makes corrections.» If corporate doesn’t give a hoot about their reputation, why should the franchisee?

Ok. So I have no job. I have two boys, one of whom has Aspergers and will only eat exactly 6 foods. One of which is fried chicken.(dont judge! We tried everything) Said child is home with me all day and dammit… Im tired of frying chicken. I got a coupon for Brown’s in that lil valu pak mailer. As such we ventured out to Browns to grab lunch. This is not our first trip here, but after today it will likely be our last. The place is relatively clean but very poorly run. It basically works like this. You tell the cashier something and she turns her body to a 90 degree angle and screams at the cook guy behind the food lamps. She seems to need to ask him about whT foods are ready, what foods they are out of and of course she must yell the order to him. Very bizarre. I thought the cook guys read some sort of screen or something? Anyways i get my total and its a smidge off. I had to ask her three times for the reciept. Once she decided to give me a reciept she began to dig in the trash? She seemed to realize this was a dumb idea and reprinted the reciept from the register. I read the reciept and realized that I was in fact over charged. I explained this to her and she then turned to ask the cashier was the promotion still valid. There was a copy of the exacf same coupons taped to the food counter. Soooo… Im guessing they pick and choose what advertised promotions to honor. The different between what she charged me and the advertised price was 1.17 not including tax. She opened the register and handed me a buck. Im not. petty but she shorted me about .30-.40. I have w problem. when businesses do this because they do not allow customers to round up or down when dealing with whT they are owed. Yet they have no. problem doing it when the customer is to be on the recieving end. We got our chicken home and some. pieces were extremely fresh and too hot to handle. The remaining pieces were lukewarm, dry/chewy and tasted old. Sigh…
