I stopped by here today to get a pedicure. On the Unilocal page is states that you don’t need an appointment. So I drove to this place. I only say one client in the shop she appears to be getting highlights. The receptionist appeared surprised that I was walking in the establishment. I’m not a «white woman» and we will leave it at that. I asked if I could get a pedicure and she looked at the calendar and so did I and she says to me we don’t have any appointments available. REALLY! because the calendar that she was looking at and I was also had nothing written on it. Just a suggestion Aura Bella you might want to change By Appointment Only to a YES. I went two doors down to Pampered Nails and received a nice pedicure, and a back massage while my toes were drying. Ladies — run to Pampered Nails and leave Aura Bella alone!

I went here for a facial, which was fine, though start to finish was less than 30 minutes. Much like the aesthetician promised, my skin was soft as butter when I left. What was different is they do no extractions, which was new to me, and didn’t use steam or one of those light wands. I do love that they are open on Sundays, which is very convenient for me.

I called on Sunday, June 29 after I saw their ad in the Lincoln Way Trader. There was a coupon for 50% off a hair cut for new clients they also had the same coupon on their web-site. The women who answered the phone said she would not honor the coupon. She said she told Sherri the owner that they should make the coupon for Tuesday and Thursday only and it is not her fault Sherri did not do that. When I told her I would talk to Sherri the owner she said okay and hung up on me. I hope they treat their clients better than that — I’ll never go there.

I been coming to this salon since it opened about 7 years ago and never once have I had a bad expirence. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. I never feel rushed to make a decision and the stylist NEVER just do the style they think I’ll like. Very clean and friendly enviornment… feels like your at your girlfriends house getting your hair done. Prices are the best around also. can’t beat it! I highly recommend calling and making an appointment.
