I love Adelia’s. I shouldn’t have to say anything else, but I will. This is a great lunch time spot as food is prepared quickly when you order or you can order ahead and pick up your order. I love that I can get healthier options here and not have to pay outlandish prices or have bad quality food. I usually get a wrap with their homemade pickles and cucumber salad — and am always looking forward to my next visit.

One of my favorite restaurants in Frankfort! I think I have eaten every sandwich and salad they have on the menu. I love the potato salad and all the wonderful desserts. The half and half is great for lunch, and such a huge portion that I often eat just the half Cobb salad and save the sandwich for the next day. The staff are amazing and the restaurant is always very clean.

Great food with great sandwiches. Had a panini with their potato salad. Both were great and I would recommend the potato salad as a side. Busy place during lunch hours!

The chicken salad was very unique with a sweetness that made me want more. The desserts were fresh and unbelievably flavor able. While the food was great, the way the owner treated my little girl was priceless. She loved him and still talks about him. We’ll return for the fellowship and the food!

It happened to be about 75 degrees inside the day I ate here. The food was a little pricy for the quantity but was unique and I’ll pay for that at times. I had the fried green tomato sandwich with the tomato and cucumber salad as a side. The fried green tomato sandwich was toasted with bacon, lettuce, and tomato on one side and pimento cheese and fried green tomato on the other. I have never had that combination if was as awesome as it sounds. Like I said it was crowded, pricy, and«sweating while you eat» hot but the food was good.

Good sandwiches and friendly staff. I got the California Wrap and my wife had the Chipotle Chicken Wrap. Both were very large and tasty. The service was fast and friendly too

Love this place! Food is consistently good. They change soups and desserts regularly. They even have Thanksgiving Dinner you can pre-order which I have done numerous times. My go-to meal is the Reuben. It’s amazingly good. Go early or later during the work week as this hometown restaurant fills up quickly with the work force out to lunch. The food used to be much better tasting than it is now but my Reuben is still amazing, even after all these years.

Existing reviews, in great part, make one think this is an exceptional place for hand– or home-made sandwiches, salads, soups or sides… and on that, we’re just going to have to agree to, well, not agree. To quote another reviewer(Rick M.), «It’s not bad, it’s just not very good.» I’ve eaten here about dozen times for lunch and had group lunches from faxed orders a few dozen times in the last year while in Frankfort. Don’t get me wrong: if what you’re looking for is nondescript /bland food that you could literally assemble from the deli of any GOOD grocery store(which, at least, means food is fresh) without cooking or spices of any sort, this place checks the boxes. I mean it — I’ve seriously assembled better sandwiches in a grocery store parking lot without so much as a plastic knife. «Creative?» Yeah, no. Not even a little bit. Their bread, when fresh, is the best thing about the place. And by «best,» unfortunately, I mean«only remotely noteworthy,» thing. It’s clean, service is fine(order in or out), they are timely, efficient, and consistent. They do tend to completely ignore any special requests made by the ordered item on faxed lunch orders: if you don’t want an item exactly as listed on the menu for takeaway, order something else or prepare for frustration. But if you just want a conveniently assembled, edible meal that isn’t going to make you sick, my experience & review shouldn’t flag you off this place.

What can I say. I used to be a BIG fan when they had their mushroom and brie soup. OMG it was like being in a French bistro tasting silky creamy goodness in heaven! I would pair that with a ham and cheese quiche and it was my perfect meal on a cold day or any day for that matter. But alas, the happy days did not last. I went in one day to find that they had changed the recipe, not only had they thinned out the soup but also added extra veggies to fill in the gaps. It took it down a lot of notches and needless to say I was very disappointed. When I inquired why the change, they said that it was too expensive so they decided to make it a different way. Why do people always mess with a good thing.

An absolute gem amongst the strip malls. Great healthy options, several types of fresh baked break, and amazingly warm and friendly service. Six of us musicians stopped in while on tour(it can be hard to find good, quick lunch spots on the road) and we’ve been raving about Adelia’s since then.

This is a café/diner that gets it. With a menu that is diverse, but not too large, there’s just enough to choose from to please any palate and allow for integrity from the cook. Integrity in a diner is key; too large a menu, then it’s not fresh. The food at Adelia’s is very fresh. Homemade dishes and sides, salads and soups that feature local seasonal ingredients make for a great lunch. The desserts are top-notch as well. This is what a diner should be. I would consider it the best lunch in Frankfort, Ky.

Our family of five had a wonderful lunch here. We ordered a variety of items and sampled each other’s food. We enjoyed everything! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and the little lady who served our food was full of old fashioned southern charm. Don’t be fooled by its location and outward appearance. It’s is a first class little bistro!

The service was a little slow for take out, but the food more than made up for it. Lots of choices and many different combinations of sandwiches, soups, and salads. I had the chicken Caesar wrap, with fresh red peppers, it was one of the best wraps I’ve had. I will be a repeat customer

This place isn’t bad. It just isn’t very good. The specials menu is written all over the place when you walk in. They have writable wall surface up top running the length of the kitchen order counter. They make use of every inch of it. I scanned the wraps and paninis. I noticed it explained paninis as pressed sandwiches for $ 6.99. I saw a cuban panini and this sounded good and I was tired of reading. The gf, also tired of reading ordered a warm meatloaf on white with an ice tea. This was about $ 18.00. OK, the place gets good reviews so it’s probably really good. Not so much. This is a place you eat lunch at if you are too lazy to make a ham and cheese sandwich yourself. My cuban was bland. I haven’t eaten a lot of cuban sandwiches in my life but what I have eaten beared only a passing resemblance to this. Instead of smoked shoulder they used roasted loin. No sear, no color, no flavor. Instead of a good grainy mustard they used what I’m guessing was french’s mustard. Instead of swiss cheese they used a fairly bland orange cheese that the chalkboard said was cheddar. I looked at my receipt and saw that this sandwich was $ 8.49. It was a bit much for this. The gf’s meatloaf was under seasoned as well. It was also over priced. Honestly, this is food you make yourself and throw in a brown paper bag. Except I think just about any Unilocaler could make it better.

Came here after seeing the high ratings, only to be disappointed. The reuben was only a little bit of meat with a ton of sauerkraut, and the other sandwiches my party ordered were similarly unimpressive. The banana pudding tastes like it’s straight out of a box, and the prices aren’t good for what you get.

This is an excellent lunch spot on route 127. Skip all of the chain restaurants and come eat here! You will NOT be disappointed! I had the american panini, and it was very clear that all the ingredients are fresh.

I went here twice. I had a thai wrap and portabella mushroom sandwich both good. Their bakery items looked great and homemade and, as always in Kentucky, the sweet tea was perfect. The first was five star worthy as the food is great and seems fresh which is rare for Frankfort, it is cheap, and the service was great. The second time I went, well, it was worthy of about zero stars, the food was still good, but there was something going on with the staff. Was not busy, we waited a while at the counter to order the guy from the back was really rude the other two women were bickering about something and not willing to help. Very uncomfortable atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for sandwiches and salads en route to Buffalo Trace Distillery, and overall had a very enjoyable experience. Highlights: Very friendly staff, a delicious grilled portobello mushroom sandwich with Boursin cheese and tomato sauce, speedy service and the cutest employee ever named Virginia bringing you your food tray. Lowlights: Broccoli salad side special was a bit generously dressed up, styrofoam cups are used in lieu of water glasses and the atmosphere does not help you forget you’ve stopped by the side of a frontage road.

This is a quaint little bakery/sandwich shop. They also have a variety of desserts. It sort of feels like going to a relative’s to eat, except you aren’t related to anyone. The food is always very good. I usually have a sandwich and soup, which is always freshly prepared. The bread/meats/vegetables are always very fresh and tasty and the soup comes in a large bowl. They have a very sweet waitress who waits all the tables and brings your food over to you whenever it is done. It gets pretty busy around lunch, but I don’t know about the rest of the day. They also have a drive-through to pick up food if you don’t feel like dining in. Best of all, the prices are extraordinarily reasonable.
