Didn’t actually go into the brewing museum but I did enjoy a walk through the beer store. They have a great assortment of local brews as well as some international classics. Good to know that they have a decent selection of local mead as well. The prices are a little higher than Cork & Ale for some things at least, but it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

This a a great place to stop and get some beers that you can’t get anywhere. The have pretty good prices and a nice variety. I like that you can do a mix and match 6 pack. It’s an I interesting stop if your in Frankenmuth.

The Lager Mill Beer Store is a pretty cool little joint. It’s a nice place and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about beer. Don’t expect to come here and get a case of bud light; they have many many import and craft beers from Germany and Michigan. They have some glasses, sourveneirs, t-shirts, etc. Reason for the 4-stars is the price. They are certainly not giving the beer away. My wife and I usually stop here when he go through Frankenmuth hoping for something new to find, and we are not disappointed.

They have a decent selection size of local craft brews and imported beers. If you find yourself in the area, it might be worth your time to pay them a visit.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. If you like beer, stop in! They have lots to choose from, and you can make your own 6 packs! Great opportunity to try something new without committing to a full 6 pack! All types of beer from all over the world! The prices are pretty fair too! The staff has no problems giving suggestions on your likes and dislikes. Plus, they have always been very friendly.

If you like beer, there’s nothing to dislike about the Lager Mill. The prices are reasonable(most singles are a bit cheaper than other places I’ve been to), and they have a really nice selection. It’s not a huge beer store, but they get all of the rarer stuff, and have plenty of «the usual.» Only negative is that they seem to sell out of the rarer bottles really quickly because they don’t get very large shipments in. Still a great shop to stop in for beer if you’re in Frankenmuth.

I did not partake in the tour, but rather came here specifically for some Michigan beer to take back with me to Florida. God only knows when I’d be back up this way, it had been about 10 years since my last trip up this way, so I decided to stock up. I ended up spending about $ 110 here, but I had quite the haul and have spent way more money on beer hauls back home in Tampa. Loved the selection, Betty was disappointed that they were out of Soft Parade, but I was happy I got the last two bottles of Neapolitan Milk Stout. You win some you lose some. The people who work here are very knowledgable and I’m glad I got the chance to meet them. I would definitely come back here if I make it back to Frankenmuth.

Great selection of craft beers, beer making supplies, disc golf equipment, and other accessories. The museum is a cool, different kind of museum with the largest collection of beer steins and glasses I have ever seen on one spot. The owners are some good guys, who are very knowledgable about beer, and the craft beer brewing process. Definitely worth stopping in and checking out their selection!

Lager Mill Beer Museum is good fun! My buddies and I went to Frankenmuth for the home brew competition at the WEB– and that is when we heard about this cool place. The Sunday after the event, we went to this museum and spent about an hour looking around. It is a small place but a lot of good information is packed into it. It is worth the couple bucks to see the history of brewing in Michigan and specifically Frankenmuth. Check it out! They also have a wide selection of beer to purchase AND an array of home brewing stuff. It is a nifty little shop! I see there was another Unilocaler who wasnt a fan… bummed to hear that.

I am not a beer fan. But I do like history, so I went to the Museum. It was basically a display of numbered photos. Captions for photos are on a laminated sheet. It gave the history of brewing in the Frankemuth area. Upstairs, there is a display of SOMANY mugs! Cost was perfect — free with my Frankenmuth Historical Museum entry fee. Otherwise, I would not go again. Nice views out the windows, though.
