Nice people running a small local business, decent pizza, prompt service. Unfortunately they’ve decided to charge an illegal $ 1 fee to patrons who prefer to pay by credit or debit for a transaction under $ 10. Massachusetts State Law forbids these types of fees. They insisted it was legal and said they had asked their lawyer. I cited MA Chap. 140D, Sec. 28A and recommended a better lawyer. If you go, and you should, don’t pay the fee.

Love this spot. Get food to go at least once a week. I’ve tired the salads, subs, chicken fingers and fries. All good quality and yummy. Much better than other places around.

Went to University Pizza for the fist time and ordered a pizza which was great! We had pepperoni, onion and mushroom. My second trip a couple weeks later was for a sandwich. I had the chicken salad. The large sandwich was enough for 2 – 3 people. It was loaded with chicken salad and other toppings including sliced pepperoncinis which made it perfect. This is a place I’ll continue to visit as I’ve barely experienced the many menu options.

If I could put zero stars, I totally would. This place is absolutely disgusting. I ordered a steak and cheese from here, ate it, and then was up 24 hours throwing up. Its been three days now and I feel absolutely terrible. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy, please don’t come here.

Its a small mom-pop joint. Not the best greek pizza joint ever, but certainly not the worst. Its a good place to get a delicious gyro on a starving afternoon. Across from Framingham State, I can only assume that when the kids are fed up with their meal plan offerings, they have a walking distance respite. Traditional greek pizza offerings, nice service and conveniently located. Clean too. I grabbed a sub for my teen on my way over to Marian High, and he was as pleased with it as I was with the chicken gyro I inhaled while waiting. I’d do them again!

I am a regular customer at University Pizza and have always been very satisfied with the quality and taste of the food. I think that the white pizza with vegetable toppings is awesome. Likewise the pasta dishes are good and their broccoli, spinach, and onion calzone is fantastic. It is filled with fresh broccoli and extremely tasty. I can’t understand the negative reviews and would encourage people to give this place a try. It is also very clean and the staff always greets you with a warm hello.

Great pizza. Their white pizza is extremely delicious. I am surprised by the other bad reviews. NO matter what others say, this pizza joint is here to stay. There is also an ice cream shop near by. The pizza place is a little secluded as it breaks away from the route 9 road. It has an updated modern interiors. Clean bathrooms, Mom and pop joint. So give them a break. It aint your commercial kind of pizza joint which will honor all sorts of coupons and deals. Rate the pizza based on taste, freshness and service which are all five stars.

I would rate it lower than one star if possible. The food was inedible. The sauce was worse then Hunts canned sauce. The dough was frozen. The calzones were cheesy bread, not calzones. No ricotta cheese. The cheesesteak had no flavor. Don’t waste your money or appetite.

Wow, if I had read some of the reviews before coming here, I’m not sure I’d stop in. It’s a nice little standard Greek pizza place. We like Greek pizza, so no complaints there. Menu is fairly extensive and you can probably find something you like between pizza, subs and wraps and pasta dinners. We had the pizza, steak and cheese sub and Greek salad. All were good although the Greek salad could have used more olives(only had 2). Pita bread was nice and soft which is rare. Steady stream of customers coming in and calling so it must be a favorite to some locals. Has outside seating too. Service was good, place was clean… not sure what else you can ask for.

Horrible — I am sure if it weren’t for the tons of starving students across the street who don’t have a lot of affordable delivery choices this place would be gone. Ordered for delivery and was told it «could be an hour» due to being busy. No problem. Food shows up over 90 minutes later, ice cold. Not«not hot» but COLD. Pizza was awful, about ¼″ thick, no alfredo sauce to be tasted, broccoli raw and falling off, they use that gross hard preformed crust. Burger ordered specifically without cheese due to allergy — came with… yup…cheese(even though order receipt was correct). French fries, when dumped out onto plate, came out in a solid clump, totally soggy and cold. When I called I was told«next time» I would get my order free. When I said I wasn’t sure I would order again the owner told me that was my choice and if I didn’t want to order again I wouldn’t «get any free food»(???). So not worth it — next time we will have toast or cereal.

Bad experience. Owner wouldn’t honor his commitment to a raffle winner. Was willing to give it a try, but I’m never going back. Owner wouldn’t listen to customer’s side of the story. The customer won 3 pizzas from a Catholic School Golf Event. The coupon was a signed menu by the owner stating 3 large pizzas. The customer bought a large and a small and was willing to give the owner a break by using one of the large pizza vouchers for the small. Owner was quite belligerent. I was willing to give the place a try as most pizza places in Ashland serve the same Greek Pizza which I think is terrible. But, after this I’ll never go back. Besides, University Pizza serves Greek Pizza

Other than the sweet lady at the counter, there is nothing special about this place. Pizza is your standard MA greek crust. Ugh. You can find it, sadly, all across the Commonweath. Clean place, though, and pleasantly decorated.

As a college student across the street, this place is awesome. Prices are good for the sizes. The reason for the 5 stars is really the hours. Open till 1 on weeknights and midnight on Saturdays. I’ve only had their pizza and eggplant parm and it’s always been delicious! The only downside is their 15 dollar minimum for credit cards/debit cards. They do take ramcash though so for FSU students its easy to avoid that issue.

Hot food close to campus. University Pizza sells tasty and affordable food. They have a good selection of comfort food. The service is great and the employees are friendly. The real selling point is the hours. Unilocal does not have the hours up to date as of this posting. Saturday nights they are open until midnight and week nights until one in the morning. This is what puts them up to five stars. University Pizza is good College pizza.

This was not even on my radar today. It’s July 4th, I figure let me try a dog next door at Mad Willies. Wrong… they’d closed for the holiday. I look next door and it’s no longer Centre Pizza. This place looks much nicer and updated from the outside. I walk in and lo and behold, the inside looks much more sparklie. Note to the owners, it was money well spent. The place was empty, I walked right up to the counter and placed my order. The young lady at the counter friendly, though a bit bored after I ordered as she was on her cell phone while I waited for my food. Needless to say, my wait seemed like it was less then ten minutes for my Veal Parm Sub, and I was on my way. It was hot and it tasted fresh. Other then that, there wasn’t anything remarkable about it. Based on the review by Leslie L, I’d stop back to try a pizza. FYI-a couple of tables out front if you want to eat al fresco.

I stopped in here on Sunday and picked up a chef’s salad. That was a big mistake. The salad must have been a week old, the cold cuts were bad, the dressing was basically mayonnaise and there was a hair in it. I won’t be giving this place another try. Yuck.

Stumbled upon this pizza joint after placing an order with a different place that used to be there and had moved. Stroke of luck! Always on the lookout for good pizza and delivery. These guys know what they are doing with a pizza oven. The South side of Framingham is lacking, in my humble opinion, an array of GOOD pizza places. I have had OK pizza at a few, but other than Gianni’s(too far from us — North side) I have been unimpressed with Framingham offerings. University was a pleasant surprise. Doesn’t take long to get delivery, if you ask for«well done» it comes that way, tasty sauce, and really nice crust. Only downsides: its a bit pricier than your average pizza place, and the location — having to cross Rt 9 at Edgell is a pain in the butt at peak traffic hours. All things considered, I’ll fight the traffic and pay a few bucks more for a good za.
