Worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. The girl completely rushed through the entire thing. She didn’t properly file my nails or trim my cuticles and just slopped on the polish. The color and top coat are completely uneven and there are edges that don’t even have polish on them. She also didn’t clean up the mess she left on my cuticles. A kid could have done a better job.

Went here for the first time last week. Pleasant atmosphere, clean and relaxing. I got a manicure by the gentleman working there and we chatted the whole time. All the staff were very friendly. I’ll definitely go back.

I am so disappointed! My nails looked beautiful for less than a week, until randomly my left index finger got snagged on my shirt and when I looked down the acrylic was already trying to lift up like it was a press on nail! I started to examine each one, only to find out that around the bottom edges of at least 6 of the nails are starting to lift up. What?! This is what I paid $ 32 dollars for?! I will NOT be back here and I will be letting my girlfriends know.

Pedicures do not last and the staff is not particularly skilled, and while not outright rude it is not a friendly place. There is always a wait even if you make an appointment.

I have been to Tokyo Nails about 7 – 10 times now over the years and have always been very happy with the cleanliness and friendly nail technicians over the years. Last week I was in for a pedicure and the woman was a perfectionist who spent extra time perfecting every nail, and it was PERFECT! I went back for a manicure today before a wedding I had to go to tonight and was able to get an appointment on a Saturday with just an hour notice. Again a wonderful job on my nails. I am a germophobe and get will only go to super clean nail salons and this is one of the cleanest I have ever been to.

Save yourself the money, a 5 year old could do a better manicure. Took FOREVER and was treated rudely. I wanted to treat myself for my birthday today and get a mani pedi, after the manicure I decided no way in hell. They told me it would be 27 and decided to throw in some extra charge.

Today I called to see if they had any availability for 30 minutes later and they said yes. The woman scheduled me for a 4pm appointment. When I arrived I was told to pick out a color and I waited 15 minutes while the ONE manicurist there worked on another woman’s nails. I could tell it was going to be awhile longer so I asked the woman who had greeted me and she was on her phone and rudely told me she didn’t know and to ask the man doing nails. When I did, he informed me it was going to be another 15 – 20 minutes. I was not about to be sitting in a nail salon for 40 minutes so I told him nevermind, and expressed my concern. Perhaps you shouldn’t schedule appointments when you don’t have time. He made up some excuse that this woman was going to get a manicure then decided to get acrylics, which didn’t matter at all to me. I told him I would go to Nail Time which is in the next plaza over and he quickly offered me a discount. Unfortunately for Tokyo Nails they lost another customer.

Great pedicures! I’ve never found the staff to be rude or dismissive. Everyone that I’ve met with has been friendly & nice. Both pedicure options are nice, but the extra few bucks for the fancier one is totally worth it. They also recently upgraded all of the pedicure chairs. They usually have cheesy movies playing, and a large selection of trashy magazines(which is part of the reason I get pedicures to begin with). Overall, I love coming here & have yet to have a bad experience.

I decided to give Tokyo a try for the first time since I was told it was a good place to go. I was not impressed at all. The atmosphere was cramped. The pedicure chairs were too close together. The water bath was too cold even after she asked and I said to warm it up. It was very rushed — only 30 min and she didn’t use a base coat before the polish. It was only $ 30 but I can go to Nails & Co and pay $ 5 more and get a MUCH better pedicure.

I’m not sure why I gave this place a second chance for a pedicure – but I did and I regret it. My technician was a young girl who could really care less about what she was doing. She barely sloughed the dead skin off of my feet and the leg massage was basically non-existent. I’m a Mom who rarely gets to treat herself with a pedicure so this was such a disappointment. And to top it off, the pedicure was $ 32 – much more expensive than other salons in the area. Head down the road to Nails 2000 for a much better pedicure.
