Stahl Construction, Charlie Stahl, is the best I have ever found. We have worked with Charlie on two major renovations on an old Victorian house in Brookline. He is a true professional and an amazing craftsman. He built three bathrooms, a kitchen, an apartment and all the work needed to preserve the foundation of the house.
Charlie’s carpentry is superb. His ability to solve all the problems our old house presented was remarkable. He is also a wonderful person– intelligent, personable and a pleasure to have in my home. I could not recommend him any more highly.

I have worked with Charlie on two projects. One was repairing a garage in Lincoln where a tree had fallen on it. The other was an elaborate deck and two bathrooms. from seeing his work I learned the difference between good and excellent. he is easy to work with and all his subs and employees were great.

Charlie is simply amazing; he is the epitome of craftsmanship and professionalism.
When I wanted to remodel my kitchen and master bathroom as well as add a home office, I canvassed friends and family for contractor recommendations. Charlie came to me by with glowing recommendations by way of a friend, and he has far exceeded my every expectation and hope. Charlie is a true artist, and his attention to detail is astounding, leading to a spectacularly beautiful finished product. As importantly to me, Charlie always carries himself with the utmost professionalism and is someone in whom I have full confidence and trust. His time and cost estimates were incredibly good and he was transparent and accommodating throughout.
Choosing a contractor and carpenter is a big decision and I can say without reservation that there’s nobody better. The only problem I have now is that I can’t stand to look at the parts of my house that he hasn’t remodeled :)
