Wow ever once in a while you come across a great store with a commitment to the customer. I recently had a problem with a snowblower. In spite of being uncertain as to if the manufacture was going to take care of him the owner(Jeff) said to me without hesitation. Brining it back and we will issue you a credit. No problem,…the customer comes first. I am one loyal customer now. I encourage you all to support Robinsons hardware!!! Thanks Robinsons, Thanks Jeff!

Waiting to have my snowblower tuned up– I think next year I will find another person to do it. The price and amount of time required has been incredible. After two weeks, they told me(today when I called to check) that they have not started working on it. It sounds like they are too busy for my business.

Needed another rental of a dependable plate compactor for the 10th time this year couldn’t be happier. A great group of people always willing to help which keeps me coming back. Also dog friendly which my dog Finnigann loves his trips to their store. Just wanted to say thank you I appreciate being able to depend on a store to have what I need when I need it. That’s Robinson’s.

BADSHARPENING Needed to get a pushmower and machete sharpened, $ 45 and $ 11.50 each. Not many places in mass do it. Took them to Robinson, week go to pick it up, machete is wrapped and the bring the pushmower out and being to ring me up for full price. I look at the lawnmower. there is still rust on the blades and there has obviously been no work done on it. I send it back and take the machete home annoyed that i will have to make another trip back out the following weekend. I get home open the wrapped machete and the blade has had work done but the blade is so dull that a 2 year old wouldn’t be able to hurt themselves. Had to take it to another store to get them to actually do it right. Next week they call me about the mower. «Oh, it has a self sharpening mechanism, we just adjusted it for you. it will cost $ 25.» no mention of the fact they originally tried to charge me $ 45 and made me take two trips out to get it done.

This store just started re-filling propane tanks and at a great price. Other local store charge much more and do not even provide the service they do. They reminded me my tank was only good for use for one more year.

Convenient — that’s the key to Robinson’s. If I just need to grab something small, it’s a 5 minute visit and I’m done. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Heck of a lot better for smaller items than Home Depot. And, most importantly, you can buy quality hardware — screws, nuts and bolts — that don’t look like they are made of cast potmetal. That’s important if you don’t want your project to fail. Very helpful and convenient, easy parking, and better quality tools. Benjamin Moore paint and others too.

well i want to support the local economy and i like the idea of the local hardware store, but on the other hand i like to have people who know what they are talking about(not high school kids in between tweets) and i like have what i need(I’m renovating the house) on hand. as you can sense, ace is missing some of those things. now on the plus side, they have benji moore paint, which is the ace of paints(rhyme? meh) well anyway, they have it and they have it cheap, which when you think about how much it costs for PAINT around 30 bucks a can 1 can per room, sometimes 2, that adds up so you can save some bucks to boot. well i said my peace

Great store with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, they’ll find you someone who does. They also do small rentals.
