I would love to tell you what it’s like to shop here, but alas, they would not let me. A friend gifted me a Groupon for a year’s membership. I attempted to redeem it here, as I had some time to kill in the Ham and environs. After passing several sour-faced and slightly disoriented-looking employees on my way to the Information Desk, I was dismayed to learn that they expected the giver of my gifted Groupon to be physically present to «present the gift,» despite his having selected the Groupon Gift option and entering my valid pertinents at the time of purchase(which they did indeed have in their system). I was honestly not in the mood to argue, so I left, but not before noticing the small size of this supposed warehouse store(lame), the high number of self-checkout lanes(ehhhhh), and the enormous«OUREMPLOYEESAREN’T ONDRUGS!!!» banner(classy). Kudos to Groupon for issuing a speedy refund. Back to poaching Ma’s Sam’s Club card, I s’pose.

Love the store. Go weekly. The produce and meats are great. I love that I can buy a huge slab of beef and cut our own steaks. Or pork chops. Steer clear on weekend days and evenings, as well as weekday mornings. Friday or Saturday night at 8PM the place is pretty empty!

.BJs product selections seem to be changing. Items we used to find are no longer at the store. For example, like Joy Dish Soap and they no longer have it in Framingham, MA for some reason. My husband tried to buy whole bean coffee and they could not find it. They only had the ground coffee. We have been members since BJs opened in Westboro, MA. Just not the same BJs any more.

We go to BJ’s once a month, it is always busy, and line are long, but overall a good experience.

Found major damage to a tire and needed four new ones quickly. Clerk told me tires would take 24 – 48 hours to arrive and could be installed quickly. Five days later no tires still. Several calls and no service. Finally got a refund to my credit card. Will not return. They should be more honest in setting customer expectations. Do not trust them. Almost a week later I need to find tires elsewhere, wish I got them a few days ago when promised. Not even an apology for lack of service or fulfillment of commitment. Sad state of customer care.

I am a big fan of the chain but this location never has enough cashiers working. Often they have one regular cashier and one express cashier working. You are forced to use the self checkout or wait 15 minutes for the one cashier. I try to avoid this store location and go to another BJs location. All the other stores I have been to are able to staff the registers.

I am a huge fan of bjs! My family goes there at least once a week! I love that they have so many options and sections that it truly makes it a one stop shop. One of the things I dislike, however, is that the clothing section doesn’t have a fitting room of some sort or a place to sit to try on shoes. A simple curtain and bench will do.

My fiancé and I have become huge fans of BJ’s within the last year. We’re an odd combination between being extreme, internet-savvy bargain hunters, and being obsessive about quality and avoiding ingesting too many chemicals. I didn’t think that I would end up finding as much at BJ’s as I have– I now do about 40% of my shopping here rather than doing all of it at Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. We’ve stopped going to Stop & Shop altogether because we weren’t saving money and prefer the much larger organic and chemical-free selection at other supermarkets. BJ’s has organic milk and soy milk, produce, frozen food(like Amy’s), and other products that are significantly cheaper and is generally of comparable quality. They really do have a wide range of things– I was pleasantly surprised. We buy things we need around the house here like trash bags, Ziploc bags, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and tupperware; toiletries(shampoo and conditioner, soap, toothpaste, deodorant), vitamins, and over-the-counter medications(they restocked Excedrin Migraine before any other store after it was recalled, which was huge for me!); and kitchen necessities(sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, and tons of other things). These are all things that it makes sense to buy in bulk, although you do need to have room to store things around your house. Nearly everything is significantly cheaper than the same things at other stores. The membership is worth it– you can try it out for a pretty significant trial period just to make sure.

I don’t shop here often, but would do so if it was closer to home. I’ve never seen it that busy which makes it east to get in and get out.

Decent prices overall. I can always get the bulk necessities — paper towels, tp, water, etc. A weekly run to BJs is a must… as long as I can avoid going on the weekend.

So three time is a charm. I’ve gone twice and after price comparisons have not found big savings. Big yes, big bags, big bulk, lots in one container but price… NOT big savings. So each time I’ve walked out and skipped the«membership». It cost $ 50 and they offered a $ 40 membership if we skipped the trial and bought into the«real» membership. We went with the trial and will see if will pay off. Obviously for parties it is fastier and easier to go in and buy in bulk. In general I don’t have a lot of space to put big boxes of cereal. However, the saving seem to be in the medications. With allergy season fast approaching they have the lowest prices around for all the name brands like Zyrtec, the Allegra that just came out over the counter, and Claritin. There is a no name brand that has the same ingredients(so my allergist told me) so I got a bottle of 300 to try. At 0.05 a pill vs. 0.50 I am willing to take a chance. To those of you who sneeze, cough, and have post nasal drip, plus the tissues and appts it can add up.

Bj’s has everything! They have great prices, and I can always find what I need. If you need food, electronics, or even tires they have it! I go here all the time!

When I lived in Framingham, there were two supermarkets in the area, and they were both Stop & Shop. Stop & Shop is overpriced and their produce is always old(which doesn’t make any sense, given their obvious volume). So I would basically avoid S&S like the plague and get everything at Trader Joes and BJ’s. BJ’s is great because the produce is fresh, and the prices on everyday items beat the supermarkets(plus all the department store stuff is cheap too). You have to know when to go, or you’ll get stuck in line, though. after 8:00 at night is great, but don’t go on Saturday or Sunday afternoon/early evening without being prepared for a wait.
