I love this restaurant! This is our go to location for Mexican food! So authentic and flavorful unlike the other chain Mexican locations around Framingham. The staff is so please and bring our usual drinks and appraiser to the table once we get there! I feel among family when dining at this location!

*BEWARE; FOODPOISONING!!!* I don’t typically write reviews especially to diss a business but I will NEVER go to Acapulcos again. I’ve been twice in the past, and my visit this past Tuesday night(2÷16÷16) was my third visit. My sister and I shared the queso(which came out cold –we had the waitress reheat it) and we both ordered sangria’s. We had different dinner meals, she had soft tacos while I ordered a chicken quesadilla… within 2 – 3 hours after we ate and left the restaurant my stomach was not feeling well at all. I ended up with food poisoning. The chicken in my quesadilla was either not prepared correctly or was bad. I have never been so sick in my life. I suffered from 8p Tuesday night to 9a Wednesday morning. I would never wish this on anyone. PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE educate your staff on preparing food the correct way and getting rid of bad food. I will never return to Acapulcos after this event. READREVIEWS; I have seen 2 other reviews now that mention food poisoning –1 of which had the same chicken quesadilla dinner!!!

Depends on what you’re here for. If you’re here for a dive-bar feeling, you should be all set. Here for a decent food and to feel like the food was taken care of? Maybe another Mexican place would be better suited. The food looks like it was probably microwaved in the back. The fries are actually pretty good, which is surprising for a Mexican place. The salsa was pretty meh. It was very watery, and had not too much in the way of vegetables. I’m assuming it was a new jar and they just poured off the top, and deeper in the jar had contents, but still pretty meh.

Meeeeeeeeehhhhh You order and the food comes out«fresh» within five minutes of ordering. A big cause for alarm. As of late the quality has come down from really good. To good. To just ok. and finally to mediocre. I wouldnt suggest this pseudo mexican resturant. ANYMORE like i have done so in the past. Believe that. NOTHING is fresh. I bet if you go in the back where food is «freshly made» you would see an assembly line like chipotle’s and a big microwave. Now. One thing this place is good for is their fried ice cream, and thats as far as it goes…

Food is decent. I ordered takeout here often. Make sure to repeat your order multiple times while ordering and even you pick up the food. They’ve got my order wrong twice now. 2 orders of chicken enchilada suizas ended up being beef the first time. This time they’re plain enchiladas and not suizas. May wamt to retrain your employees. #annoyed

I’ve have never had problem with their food and I’ve been coming here once or twice for the past ten years. Mexican food is Mexican anywhere(if you’re not squirten out your back side after one hour you are good to go and I’ve never had that problem at this place). You can’t get a decent IPA ok but they do serve good strong Margaritas. I’ve been to Mexico and the last thing I’m going to think about is their food and how it reflects on our American culture. I was more worried about being abducted, used for satanic rituals and raped and murdered for no good reason.

Just bad. Top shelf(hornitos) margarita to start. Decent, neither good nor bad, but mostly a bowl of ice. Basically pre-mix limeade with tequila. No fresh juice. Meh. Chips & salsa. Fine. Slightly hot salsa… Good. Combo platter shredded beef enchilada and pork taco. Rice beans. Maybe I expect too much. Beans, the pinnacle low point in restaurant creativity, but for refried beans, they were ok. Rice was quite salty. But at least not crispy from the reheating. The chicken in the enchilada was watery and bland. as one would expect from canned chicken. Besides, I ordered shredded beef.(the waitress apologized). The pork in the tacos was strangely cubed and processed. I skipped eating that, Besides, half the taco shell decomposed and stuck to the plate as it was wet. Shredded heated lettuce and grocery store orange block cheese on top. I did not eat this. Just bad. Waitress and service were good.

The portions are gigantic, but the food is nothing special. My chimichanga was way too spicy, but the food itself had no flavor. Also, it was extremely, extremely soggy. Sadly, this is one of the better meals I have had in this area though. Route 9, I am looking at you!

It’s definitely not anything like Arizona Mexican food. Guacamole was crunchy. The flan is very«custard-y» but good. The brownie Sunday is the best part about my cheat day meal!

Just to update on my experience with takeout — we ordered three items and none of them were right. In-store seems to be fine, but takeout is a bit sketchy! Maybe go to the store in person and order? LOL

I hadn’t been here in years because I had a few bad meals in the past. My girlfriend really wanted Mexican so I figured I’d give it another chance. I’m glad I did. The food was really good this time around. We actually went 3 time over the past two weeks. The fajita tacos are good, the enchiladas are awesome and the shrimp fajitas also hit the mark. Skip the queso, it’s nothing special in my opinion.

O.M.G. this is why Mexican food gets such a bad rap here in the USA. This was the horriblest Mexican food ever. Really. Really. Bad. Even the beer was flat or too warm. Ok. We went on Cinco de mayo. Shouldn’t you shine on that day? No. According to them, you should attempt to serve food that as closely resembles sewage as possible. Onions not caramelized. Meat not salted. Salsa tasted like ketchup. Hot sauce was neither. I may clean my insides with bleach. HFS this was bad. The staff was really nice.

The bar staff, especially Jesse and Blanca, are wonderful. They will remember you face and what you drink. The food is great as well. The Mrs and i go down there often and for two people getting food and drinks we get out for under $ 50. Would recommend this location over the others anytime

Ordered my food spicy for take out. Went to pick it up, asked to confirm the order, they said, no we forgot to make it spicy. They suggested that I used hot sauce. I asked them to remake the order instead, which they did. Food is ok, not the greatest… I will be going to the Aztec in Framingham next time.

I came here today with my coworker for lunch, we were quickly served chips and salsa but had to ask for silverware and napkins that weren’t at the table already. We each ordered the combo meals. I had the Chicken Tamale and she had a Chimichanga. The look of the food was kind of disheartening. My tamale looked like it had been microwaved and was somewhat burnt. Her chimichanga was so flat. I took a bite, no flavor, the only thing I could taste was the super spicy Salsa Verde, which I typically like but it was so bland. The rice was a bit soggy and the beans were mediocre. I was not impressed at all. I am Puerto Rican and Im spoiled with rich flavorful food, typically Mexican places tend to be both, or at least one of those things. Today’s experience was far from ideal. I had to force myself to finish most of it. A disappointment I will not be back.

This is not my favorite location from this local chain but it is not bad. The service was slow — there were 4 waiters/waitresses on and the place was almost dead — no excuse! The food is always good — not great but good. The guacamole is always fresh. I am not a huge fan of the salsa — it is too watery — needs more tomatoes /veggies in it. The tacos were good but the beans that came with them were beyond bland. My friend I was with had a shrimp dinner that came out on a massive plate with huge portions. She said it was excellent. The prices are really good for the portion sizes you get.
