Not very customer centric, very minimal politeness and service if at all. Don’t expect to be waited upon if the phone rings, even if you are 1st. Sandwich portions pretty much the same; lots of bread, not so much meat. Not the best prices in town; better deals elsewhere. Okay place to go, not 1st choice.

I get lunch here at least once a week and I’ve never had a bad experience. Great subs, great salads, consistent service and local people who care about the community. I definitely suggest getting food here.

Had the chicken parm sub here and it was nothing more than a wet chicken patty. Yuck!

Horrible place, horrible service, sandwiches meh. Fries to salty. The hot BLT was not hot. Apparently only the bacon was supposed to be hot. I pointed out that the bacon was stone cold as well. «Well, that is because the tomatoes and salad are cold» the lady said. Seriously? The other annoying thing was that I wanted to pay for my order after placing it. «No», she said we do that when your food is ready. When it was ready, I wanted to eat it(still under the impression that I ordered a hot sandwich with fries). But they want you to let your food cool down and pay first. When I pointed this inconvenience out, she said that she was busy. We were the only two in the shop. The place smells like a landfill. The only good thing about this establishment is, is that subway is right around the corner.

I had a great sub, the place is clean and the sandwich selection they have will satisfy anyone. The sub come in 3 sizes

This is one of my favorite sub shops around. The food is great with fair prices and really good portions. The shop itself is extremely clean! Which I find to be very rare with small sandwich shops. Like there is no oil dripping or shit all over the place. It is very clean an organized. Another thing that truly makes this place a 5 star over a 4 star is the owner. I believe if a owner truly loves what he is doing his hard work will show and it will be something special. That is the case here. This owner goes above and beyond. Just today I saw a customer who had didn’t get his order yet and had to leave because his break was coming to an end. So what the owner did was gave him half the order that was ready, then drove down the rest of it to the customer at his place of work. Which is pretty Effin awesome and respectable. Oh, another cool plus is this place will be open on Sunday if the patriots have a home game.

So I waited until after a few visits to write my review. I moved to Foxboro months ago and have been making the rounds and this place is just OK. There steak n cheese is huge which is nice but any food I have ever gotten here has just been OK. Not great not terrible but do yourself a favor and try one of the other places around here before you make this your spot. Also, there is always an awful stench when I walk in this place. Makes me nervous. I think I have been to Primos for the last time.

Not a huge fan of this place, although they do make one of the better Italian Subs around. I find most of their sandwiches are overly greasy.

Not sure if I went on an off day or not but I got a steak and cheese sub and it was just OK. Lots of bread, not a lot of steak, and very bland tasting.

Myself and three coworkers went to Primos in Foxboro on Monday after SuperBowl. Was the bad experience due to the«SuperBowl Mondays»? I reserve judgement. The first clue was the sign«Cash only» to cut costs. The second clue was that at noon time, the four of use were the only people the place. Our order was as follows: Chicken Parm Sub, Primo Steak Sub, Steak with onions and mushrooms and a Greek Salad. The Greek Salad had unfresh Pepperoncini’s, a wierd Feta cheese that looked more like crumbled Parmesan and a very wierd yellow Greek Salad dressing and reported to be unappetizing. The Chicken Parm was reported to be unseasoned and unappetizing. The two steak subs has canned mushrooms, onions and peppers that tasted like they had previously been frozen, and now seasoning to speak of. The steak was a very poor quality with sinew through out… grey in color like it was old. Small shops like this need to stand out from the staples like D’Angelos, etc. Its very doubtful that we will make the drive over for lunch again, as there are so many other great sandwich shops nearby.
Never a.

Went in the other day for the first time. I’ve lived in the area for quite some time and have always driven by, but never stopped in. I ordered the turkey thing and I must say it was quite good. Very tasty and light. If all the other subs are as good as this then they’re definitely doing something right. The floors of the kitchen were clean as was the small dining room, but I felt the rest could have used a nice wash down/freshening up. The guys working behind the counter(must be the owners) should also take a bit more pride in their appearance. Both looked like they fell out of bed with ‘Primo’s’ t-shirts that had holes in them and had seen better days. Maybe invest in some new t-shirts and baseball caps to match? I’m a business owner too so I know how important it is to put your best foot(appearance) forward. Especially when you’re serving food… you don’t want your customers feeling apprehensive about taking a meal you cooked for them from you. So to wrap up, they’re definitely a higher star establishment if based solely on their food. They just need to work a bit on the whole ‘package’.

I am proud to say I took 14inches and I liked it. That’s how big the large subs are. I have tried the steak n cheese which was real good and also the turkey stuffing n cranberry sub. The stuffing was put on the grill to warm it up and to also give it a little crunch. They also have fried dough. I will be back when I can handle some more.

This is the best sub shop in southeastern Massachusetts, and is far superior to the chain sub shops such as Quizno’s or Subway. This review can’t do this place justice. Where to begin… the subs are huge, and the bread is amazing. It’s always fresh and soft. If you order a sub with meat, you will get large amounts of it. You will not get a bready sub as you would at Subway. These people know how to build a sandwich, and always cram it with copious amounts of meat and fresh toppings. The best sub they serve is the steak and cheese, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Their fries are equally awesome. The steak fries are always crispy and covered with just the right amount of salt. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The two drawbacks to this place are that they don’t deliver and they don’t accept credit cards. One previous reviewer mentioned a crazy old guy who is always in the place. His name is Roger; he has been visiting there since I was a kid. He is just a Foxborough townie. Yes he can creep people out and he may have questionable body odor, but he is harmless. He talks to himself and doesn’t bother anyone of the patrons even though the eating area is small. Roger doesn’t phase me, though, and he does nothing to detract from this place. You will be so immersed in your food that nothing should bother you.

Solid sub shop. I’ve had the Italian, Steak and cheese and the Thanksgiving sandwiches. The stuffing was awesome on the Thanksgiving sandwich, they throw it on the grill top to heat it up. I get mine with mayo and American cheese. Reading the other review reminded me about the crazy old guy who is always in there. He’s harmless but I would still recommend take out.

Primo’s is the best sandwich place in that .2 mile radius. better than Lowens and Subway. Disclaimer: I’ve only tried the turkey sub and steak fries, but both were solid, fries outstanding, and ive seen the other subs so i can confirm they appear equally as appealing. The meats and bread are fresh, the place is inexpensive. 6 bucks for a medium. and the toppings are also good. a couple notes. annoying that they only take cash, dont get the pickles, they’re not good, and the large is meant for splitting, too big for one person to take down.

This is a great classic sub shop. Reminds me of places I used to go in college, super cheap and super tasty. They have great fries and steak subs. All at great prices. The young guys who were working there the first time we went were very nice and helpful, making recommendations. The only downside is that they don’t deliver!

Primo’s is a good place to get a sub in Foxboro. I usually get a Medium Turkey with everything — it comes out to $ 4.92. They are pretty fast, so you can get out of there quickly. But — there is one guy there who says«Are you all set?» whenever he talks to you. «Yes» — I’m all set to order, but«No» — no one is helping me yet, etc… So this gets a little confusing. I usually ignore his question and ordre, or pay, or walk away, whatever.
