Merle Norman Cosmetics & Spa

This place is fabulous. The staff is super friendly and the lady did a really nice job shaping my eyebrows. I was very satisfied.

This is an update to my previous review. Kim and her staff did the make up for my daughter’s wedding and the girls looked amazing! They all loved Kim and her staff who came to the hotel to do the makeup. We couldn’t have asked for more! They were fantastic and very accommodating to 8 girls who wanted different make up styles. All the girls went in for a practice session and they all raved about the service they received and the make up tips they got. They did not feel pressured into buying any of the products although most of the girls fell in love with several products and did buy them — and continue to go back. The facials there are so relaxing! The best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of them at different places until I starting going to Merle Norman. Kim is always ready to give samples before you buy and that is fantastic to try different colors before purchasing. There just is no better place to go!

Love this place! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a place where everyone was so friendly and helpful. I feel very inept putting on makeup and like a very natural look. Kim often helps me but Donna has been a great help also working to find products that are easy for me to work with and that look good. I’ve had facials and waxing done by Emily and couldn’t be happier! I recommend this studio to anyone who is interested in great service!

We stopped in so my wife couold schedule a facial.
Wow!!!
The owner appeared to get into some sort of dispute with an employee who my wife was there to meet to schedule the facial. Things got very confrontational and what appeared to be the owners husband or boyfriend got into the mix and started barking at the employee.
At this point we sort or backed out of the facility and headed back to the car. We sort of laughed about the entire thing as it seemed we were sort of looking in on what should have been a private conversation.
I’m not really certain what to say here because no services were rendered for us but my wife and I both felt the issue was completely mis-​handled by the owner and left us feeling un-​comfortable in terms of going back.
So… I guess we’re not going back.
