Grille in the Ville

Thank you, Unilocal!Great burger. French dip was loaded with tender prime rib. Good chowder, but a tad salty. Good service.

My family was in Fowlerville for my son’s basketball tournament. We had a little over an hour between games and decided to eat at Grille in the Ville. We made a reservation an hour before we arrived for 20 people because we were not sure if other families from the basketball team would be interested. The staff made sure we had a TV to watch the game and were not dismayed when close to 30 people showed up. We were on a time constraint but they were gracious and very accommodating. The food was wonderful too. My husband had the stuffed cabbage soup and chicken piccata, which he loved and he is a very picky eater. I got the smoking mushroom burger which was excellent. Thanks again to the very wonderful wait staff and the cooks.

I came here a day ago on a first date. I had originally planned another location for our meeting but I am intensely glad it was closed. This little small town restaurant absolutely knocked my socks off. The service was impeccable. The food was delectable and well portioned. The ambience was cozy. And most importantly the staff were sensitive to the situation. For example they noticed us chatting and how things were going so as a gesture of their own they dropped a basket of mints in a basket adorned with hearts. I appreciated the gesture and had to inform my date that I hadn’t set anything up.
Thank you for a wondrrful lunch. I’m certain we’ll be back.

This is a great little spot. I am not from the area and relied on Unilocal to steer me towards some good food to go and this place did not disappoint.
First of all: the folks here are super friendly. From the waitress to a woman who I think may have been the owner, right down to a man who was at the bar having lunch. Very welcoming people.
I ordered the fried chicken wrap and it was so good. It was hard to believe that something so simple could be so good, but there you have it. My mister had the French dip and said it was extremely good.
This is an excellent choice if you’re in the area.

We stopped in for the first time at 11:30 am for lunch. Pleasantly surprised with quality and price of menu choices! The Manhattan clam chowder was excellent. Split a fried chicken wrap with my daughter — came on separate plates with plenty of sweet potato wedges (yummy!).
Although we didn’t have dessert, definitely coming back for that!

This place is fabulous. I’m seriously addicted. The last thing I tried was a special of the day. the chicken pasta with Mornay sauce. Smoked Gouda and ground mustard sauce to be exact. It was fantastic. I either need to live here or find that recipe online. And yes, everyone else loved their food too. Great value. I would pay twice the price where I live.

I have been there twice. Food is gourmet quality and service was excellent both times. It is very easy to park in a quiet small town. Booths are private and large.

Me and some friends were on our way home from a conference when we decided that we needed something to eat. We looked up Unilocal for nearby restaurants and «Grille by the ville» came up. We decided to check this place out. When we drove up to the place it is tucked away in strip mall (so be careful you don’t miss it). When we entered the restaurant we were greeted by the staff with such delight (because let’s be honest who still greets you smiling ear to ear). They were quick to take our drink orders. Really soon after she dropped our drinks she returned to take our order. One ordered the chicken romanoff, one ordered the fish-​n-​chips, and I had «the duke» all were EXCELLENT!!! The rueban soup was very tasty (and I’m not a corn beef fan).
If you are ever in fowlerville, Michigan add «Grille by the Ville» as one of your must stops for an awesome meal and some really good service.

Intimate setting, very pleasant wait staff and delicious food! I ordered the crab cakes with clam chowder and mashed potatoes. Yum! The clam chowder was great! Rich, creamy and full of flavor. No crackers needed! My entrée was a filling serving of four lightly breaded, flaky, perfectly seasoned crab cakes. The side of heaping mashed potatoes was no-​frills, butter and cream laden — just like the good southern Sunday supper I grew up with! Dessert was Italian Almond Torte which, while not made at the restaurant (made by a dessert company down the road in Howell) was just the right mixture of mascarpone, rum soaked pound cake, cream and almonds. A local gem! We will be back soon!

Fabulous find. Attentive waitstaff. Pleasantly presented food. I tried the blue burger. It was delicious. Wife had some salad with some tasty blue cheese dressing. In fact we took some home. (The dressing).

Wow! Great food and great service in a very intimate atmosphere. Food was delicious and the presentation was great! Crab cakes and daily special were both very tasty and the corned beef was nice and tender. Well worth a visit! You won’t be disappointed! I’ll be back!

The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. The wait staff was chipper and attentive.
I went with the Bleu Burger. The bun was soft, but didn’t dissolve. The patty was cooked to perfection. The tastes and textures complemented each other perfectly. An amazing burger from top to bottom!
My wife had the Prime Rib French Dip and was equally pleased. We shared an order of Bruschetta, which should only be eaten by those who love cheese.
I look forward to trying other items on their menu.

I love this place! I get it every wed/​Thursday when I am at work next door. Their bacon that they serve is amazing and so is their house made dressing white balsamic honey. Great service whenever I go in there and I’m never disappointed

Tasty! A step above other local fare, class wise. And a welcomed change to our small community.

The food has no flavor. Waitress flighty. The ice tea watered down. French dip sandwich had no flavor and the meat too thick to even chew. The bun nothing special, same with the french fries. Sorry, I was very excited about this new place and I sure was dissapointed.

Don’t let the unassuming décor fool you — the food is awesome! The menu has a lot of different options, and everything we tried (from salad to fish to steak) was excellent. And the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality.
Great service too.
If you’re in Fowlerville, definitely make a stop here!
