This definitely looks like a newer rest area. The place is clean and well maintained. Outside, there is a lot of greenery, trees, and some picnic tables. They have an area for pets, along with bags to clean up their business if needed. There are two buildings here. One is for the restrooms and the other is for vending. Overall, this is a good spot to take a break from the road for a little while.

Just finished driving past Charlotte and need a rest? You’ll be okay stopping here at mile marker 59 with shady spots for a quick bit of shut eye and a few places you can walk the dog too.
