Market In The Park

Going tonight again! Last year I went and tried churros filled with caramel! Omg it was to die for. Many food trucks selling tamales, shaved iced, etc. Definitely a fun place!

I actually really like it here! I came here twice. Very family-​friendly and even pet friendly! Lots of different vendors available, Thursdays 5−8PM. It’s in the parking lot right next to the basketball courts at Mile Square Park, across from the Albertson’s plaza on Brookhurst.
You can walk around, there’s a small area with farmer’s markets — vegetables, strawberries, eggs, local bakeries, kettle corn, olive oil and some other stalls with handmade jewelry, toys, etc. I actually wish there were more vendors, but it still has a good amount! Then on the side, there are food trucks. I forget their names, but one was for tamales, peruvian empanadas (the mushroom one was really good!), carne asade cheese fries, a korean-​mexican fusion truck (bbq skillet quesadilla!!), shaved snow, funnel cake, pizza, and I can’t remember anymore, but my family came by and had a nice dinner with lots of variety! We got to try a lot of different stalls, and they set up a lot of tables/​chairs out inside a ring of food trucks for the families to sit and enjoy!
There was also a live band playing! It was a great, casual atmosphere to walk around on a summers’ evening. One of the Thursdays we went, he kept playing 80’s love songs! My dad loved it!
