Kinecta Federal Credit Union

I went to this back to reopen a checking account and it was the worse 5min ever spent at a bank. I walked in and stood there for a few min before anyone acknowledged me, then when I spoke to the personal banker Mr. Lui if I’m not mistaken, I told him I wanted to see if I could reopen my account being that another employee at another location said I could, instead of being helpful is just placed a call to their location and left a message to call him back. He wrote my number down and said he would update me by the end of the day, which obviously never happened. I had to ask for a business card and once he realized that a familiar customer walked in… he rushed me out so he could help his customer. The banker was extremely nice to the other customer but never smiled at me. I will never return here and I will surely make a complaint to the branch manager. What a waste of my lunch break

My sweet little bank is closing, so I’m headed over to Kinecta for my banking needs. I was greeted kindly by a teller that showed me a seat while I waited for about 2 minutes. When it was my turn, I immediately got a welcome vibe from the nice lady who did my paperwork. It was super easy to get everything set up.
Big plus that they are dog lovers, too! My dogs are welcome there, and there’s treats!
You guys are starting out with 5 stars. I’m very hopeful that they stick!

If I could give no stars I would. I joined the this credit union at the Lakewood branch and everyone there was so pleasant. Unfortunately I work near this terrible branch so it was convenient to do my transactions here. Except every time I came in here the male tellers have terrible attitudes, almost like you coming in is an inconvenience. They are all RUDE!!! Because my only other option is Westminster or Lakewood which is to far I decided to leave the bank ENTIRELY because of the way I was treated at this branch.

I’m gonna keep it short & sweet.
Service: Good. They never have given off a bad vibe, all of the tellers are friendly & I see them assisting other customers efficiently and respectfully. I don’t come here to bask in rainbows and unicorns, I come here because their system is a-​ok and I trust them with my money. I am always greeted when I come in and I won’t stand for fifteen seconds before I get helped (given that no one is in front of me) I don’t quite understand why this location has such bad reviews. Wait time is never long, they do their jobs right, and they are extremely patient with the crazies.
Badaboom. ’nuff said.

Hope the management at this location is looking at the reviews. Had the same experience as the others before. Why are they so slow? Please fix.

Other branches have a super friendly staff, love them and their willingness to go the extra mile for customers. This branch has a very rude woman working there. Rude enough for me to avoid this branch entirely.
You should do the same. The company offers some attractive rates as far a major loans go, so i will stay a customer. I just avoid this branch and do my banking at the Long Beach location. They’re much friendlier there.

I belong to a credit union that has an agreement with Kinecta so I can make deposits, withdrawals, etc. My credit union allows ME 3 free transactions per month w/​affiliate banks. On one visit, I deposited 2 checks and some cash. Kinecta counts EACH check and EACH denomination of bills as a separate transaction, so my deposit counted as FOUR separate transactions! They counted my 20s as 1 transaction, and my 100s as a separate transaction! I called my credit union and they said it’s up to the affiliate bank to decide how they want to count transactions. My credit union credited me back the fees, but said from now on, go to a different affiliate!

So I would always get this lady teller, High lights kind of chunky way too many gold rings and oh yeah those long fake acrylic nails.
Always Rude, never greets you never smiles. Looks like shes ready to die and does not want to be working!
Lady you dont belong in customer service, just get a new job if you don’t like dealing with people!
