Cedar Falls Park is a terrific park offering non-strenuous walking trails(main trail to the falls is a wide paved walking path), benches sprinkled all over the park, pet friendly(with poop-bag stations readily available), covered shelters, clean public restrooms, and an awesome play ground for little people. My favorite trail was the one following the Reedy River. Beautiful photographic opportunities. I also liked the trail information board listing how many laps equals the distance of 1 mile, half marathon, and full marathon. Super nice park for people of all ages. Easily accessible from Cedar Falls Road, with plenty of parking spaces. I highly recommend this park for young and old alike.

At this site in southern Greenville County the Reedy River widens to over 200 feet cascading over rocks and boulders to create one of the most geologically significant vistas on the river. The site dates back to the early 1800s when it housed an industry and an electric generating plant. The site has been developed into a passive park with trails, picnic groves, historic interpretative signs and a playground. Cedar Falls Park is a great spot to come out and relax. Its located on over 90 acres and has access to Reedy River with well maintained trails. Also, dogs are allowed! You can still see parts of the old mill and dam which adds a lot of character to the park.
