Gas is way too expensive here. They rip people off just cause it’s the only gas station around. It’s Fountain Hills so it’s expected I guess. Only thing I go here for is donuts and beer. I always get gas elsewhere unless I’m on empty and forced to go here. I hope one day the owner decides to lower the gas prices to a more reasonable price. Gas isn’t the only thing overpriced here either. I tend to avoid this place at all costs unless it’s late at night when this is the only spot open and I have no choice but to go here.

Prices not good. Coffee will be cold 85 percent of the time and no half and half most of the time. Run out of things and they don’t come back in for weeks or they never come back in. I will say they always seem to have a least 3 people working. Not sure what they do but they are nice but not very helpful. Convenient location but not worth the hassle. Better off going down to the circle K’s.

This company and it’s ownership does not deserve the support of their employees or the public. As the manager of this store when it sold the winning Powerball ticket in November of 2012, I can assure you that neither myself nor my employees received any part of the $ 25,000 the store received from the state. We did all the work, put up with the post winner hoopla, including future drawings which is another story, and got 0. You reading this Matthew Good? As it is with all stores like this(convenience), the service you receive is only a reflection of the individual who is taking care of you. The company, and in many cases your direct manager, they don’t care about the guy collecting the money. A decision on whether or not to shop there in the first place, that’s where reputation as a business comes in. The 4 Sons Company is a price gouging, cheap and small corporation taking advantage of their locations and the people who shop there. I asked my superiors one day why our gas is so much more expensive than the other local gas station. The reply? «Because we can.» This company is not a reflection of a small business in a small community. I have lived in Fountain Hills almost 30 years, and this is one business that I wish someone would move in and compete with.

This gas station was completely gas gouging at the pump. In the past gas runs $.30 more then anywhere in the valley. But when gas price started dopping they didn’t. At one point gas was $ 2 in the valley and them $ 2.59. They sometime back got a new manager and he need to learn how to treat customers. I will never go there while he’s there.

Okay, so their prices are a bit higher. But, I will say that they have very friendly associates. One day, my car tire was low and so I pulled up to the air pump. Not sure of how to get the air going(since there wasn’t a coin drop), I approached the front counter. A girl(maybe early 20s) said she wld turn it on and asked me if I had a gauge. Ummmm… Noooo… She dropped everything(told her peer to cover the front), and assisted me with the proper amount of air in my tire! She even offered to do it for me bc she liked my nails!!! I profusely thanked her and was safely on my way. I’ve forgotten her name, but always try to give them business for such a great experience!

This gas station is, on a good day, about 20−30¢ a gallon more than any other gas station in town. My recommendation would be to try going to Circle K… or, if it’s on the way… the Shell gas station on rt. 87 and McDowell seems to have the cheepest gas around. The good thing about this gas station is the free air compressor. I hate paying to put air in my tires.
