We missed the exits for food in Texarkana and the first stop afterwards, heading to Louisiana, was Fouke. Not much in this town. Really. But this little place, humble looking as it may be from the outside, was really not too bad. We both had burgers, basket-​style. This was definitely not fast food. We waited maybe 15 minutes. But the burgers were really pretty good! Stop in Fouke and have yourself a fine burger at Allen’s.
