Walgreens

Never go to this Walgreens between the hours of 4−7pm. I’ve gone several times at that time of day and spent over an hour in line. They would wait 20 minutes in between helping each customer as the line got 6 people long. If I go at oddball hours, sometimes I get a long wait, sometimes not. I’ve never tried the drive-​through, but it looks like they serve those people slightly faster than the ones standing inside.
I’ve gone to get 6 prescriptions filled plus 2 that had to get authorized by a Dr. When I went, they only had 4 done. One other had been sent to a Walgreens in another state where I lived 6 months ago, and another wasn’t filled at all. I had to request it again. 1 of the 2 Dr refills had been denied (I’m having problems getting to see a new doctor where I live now) but another one for the same doctor was still awaiting approval.
I switched from CVS to Walgreens because when I fill a low cost generic prescription, CVS would always charge me the full $ 15 copay. Walgreens would still charge me the $ 7.65 or $ 3 or whatever the deep discounted generic cost. I was stuck with Walgreens for a while because my insurance didn’t cover most pharmacies. I’m going to be looking around for a different pharmacy in the future.

I will NEVER come back to this pharmacy!!! Stay away! Worst customer service ever. 30 – 40 min wait time in drive through is a typical visit

I would give this zero stars if I could. Horrible pharmacy, employees have no idea what’s going on. Place is filthy, there was a fistfight in the parking lot last week as I was leaving, and the list goes on. DO NOT GO HERE

I went in today needing to fill a new prescription that CVS (my usual pharmacy) is out of for the weekend. I asked them if they had the prescription– and after looking for it the pharmacy tech said they had it. Feeling thankful, I asked if I could fill it tonight and readily agreed to wait as long as needed since they were a bit busy even at 9:30 pm. She told me it would be 30 minutes and I was more than fine with that given that it was a new prescription, etc, etc. What I wasn’t fine with was waiting for 45 minutes with no update, having to eventually walk up to the counter myself and wait patiently another few minutes only for her to tell me that they do not actually have that prescription in stock.
I’m fine with waiting for a prescription, but not with giving up almost an hour of my day because of a mistake made by a careless pharmacy tech that wasn’t even sorry she put someone through that. Don’t waste your time like I did!

Got sucked in the coming back to this poor excuse for a pharmacy again and the one across the street that doesn’t do you any better of a job they both sucked so bad I go to these drive troughs and they see me but act like they don’t The dayshift there is just horrible every time I have to go pick up something for my mom or my wife and I begged them not to use Walgreens bag them with every inch of my life not to use Walgreens they continue to do so so I’m the one that sent to coming back to this hellhole of a pharmacy or you cannot get served properly at all they constantly screw things up with the insurance so you can’t ever just go and get all of your prescriptions and one run your constantly sent coming back to wait in that fucking two hour line

The only reason I’m giving them a one star, is because their pharmacy is absolutely horrible. The pharmacist don’t answer their phones. I was on hold for thirty five minutes, and finally called up front on a seperate line to their customer service department. The nice young lady profusely apologized and got me immediately through to a pharmacist. Once I finally get through, the lady insists my doctor never called in my order, and then says she has it, but she searched the wrong name.
Your phamacy staff at this location really needs to get their sh*t together.

As far as a drug-​store goes this Walgreens is great, for a snack or even to buy shaving cream. Here is my words to the wise: NEVER take your prescriptions here. They are understaffed, with many of them being extremely rude. They are unhelpful and usually to rushed to really talk to you about your medications. I have never waited less than 15 minutes in a line there. I have recently moved my prescriptions to a small business pharmacy in fort worth, where my business is appreciated.

They had a certain item on sale 2/​$ 4. I got a few and upon checking out they said I can’t get it as there is a limit of 3 only. Duh! Then why did you put it up on sale for ²⁄₄ if I an only get 3. Nobody knows the things I was looking for and had to locate it myself. I just felt like they were not enjoying their job.
