I believe she has too many patients and desperately needs to update her equipment and computer systems so that her staff can adequately support her. In addition to that, I am dumbfounded that she did not schedule a sonogram immediately for someone who is pregnant with known irregular periods and known, multiple miscarriages.(For one of which, she was the OB) she also thought my last miscarriage was due to my body not producing enough progesterone, but didn’t think it was necessary to put me on a supplement right away since my levels were okay this time, and I’m told they only check progesterone levels once. Which means they didn’t even consider the surge of hormones that happens at the beginning of the pregnancy or that the levels could drop! Instead of doing a sono, they assumed I was 4 – 5 weeks based on hormone levels and then, after looking back through my record after the second hcg check 4 days later, thought I might be more like 8 weeks. Which would mean my hcg levels were low, but again, how would they know without a sono? My hcg and progesterone levels don’t really mean a whole lot without that information, do they?! At this point, she finally wanted me to get a sono at the hospital«because their equipment is better than what they have in the office.» I guess if I had her salary, this wouldn’t be a huge deal. But, it kind of is. The insurance benefit for her office is a copayment. Hospital is a whole different story. I didn’t know if it would be $ 200 or $ 1000 or what.(Yes, I called my insurance company and they were useless.) So, I’m potentially stuck with some huge bill because her equipment isn’t good enough and NOW, she’s finally concerned that I might miscarry!!! On top of all of that frustration, she doesn’t accept credit/debit, and certainly doesn’t apply any current technology that allows you to pay online… or have a website with forms? nothing. Don’t expect any of that in her office. She MIGHT be a good doctor if she would correct/update those things and if she had time to pay attention to what is actually going on with her patients, but I won’t be back to find out. Nice lady and nice enough staff, but that doesn’t make up for any of this. I really did not feel taken care of there or like what’s best for me was of any interest. I always felt more like a burden that just takes up valuable time with every breath, which to me, implies she has too many patients. I wish her staff the best of luck.

Going to see a gynecologist is one of those things that no one likes to do but Dr. Vu makes it as painless as possible. She’s the nicest, most energetic doctor that I’ve ever come across. From the get-go, even though I was nervous because it was my second ever gynecologist appointment, she made me feel very comfortable and I think it was the best experience I’ve had with any doctor ever! If you need to see a gynecologist, look no further, hands down Dr. Vu is the one for you. I loved her and I’m sure you will too!
