VIP Nails And Spa

I was visiting a friend and needed to get my nails done she recommended this place, boy was she wrong! They were not very clean and sanitary, and Lily was so rough and heavy handed. I got a pedicure and powder fill, never before have I had someone cut my nails and place the clippings on my feet. Then she seemed to get annoyed with me for some reason, and raised her voice in an angry tone at me when I didn’t hear something she said. I will never come back, and I will tell others that their customer service and cleanliness is sub par and not worth the high prices. Lily needs a lesson in customer service.

I’m a sporadic nail salon goer. I don’t have a usual place that I normally go to, but I consistently come back to this place when I’m in the neighborhood and in need some grooming.

Should have read the reviews before I went here. I had them clean up my eyebrows and 5 months later the bald patch they left is still filling in.

Horrible service. They missed parts of my nail with color. Would not recommend and won’t be back. However they do give discounts if you pay in cash.

I was a loyal customer because Chi had a lot of colors and she did a good job. However, she is ALWAYS double booked & would start at least 30+ mins after appt. She is the expert & I did not question her work, so after my last fill I noticed the powder was marbled on a few of my nails. I told her I didn’t like it (similar to sloppy polish job). She sighed & said she had worked on me for an hr (more like 30 mins) & I should have told her earlier! Since she is the «professional», SHE should have noticed & brought it to my attn. Tired of her not taking accountability. Needs to learn humility. I have not been back since.

I used to only go here to get my nails done. Didn’t like how they did my eyebrows. I asked for just a clean up and for them to not thin out my eyebrows and they did the complete opposite. The last time I was here they filed too hard on my pinky and it left a deep cut on the side of my finger, so I decided not to come back anymore.

I was surprised I heard a lot of good things about this place. My mom and I were greeted at the door and put at a seat fast. We showed pictures of our nails of what we wanted, mine turned out perfect and I really love them! But then at the end there was another lady who liked my nails and wanted to take a picture. The nail lady yelled and grabbed my hand to put it under that light thing. When I checked up on my mom the other nail tech was doing something completely different then what we asked for, when I confronted her she went on saying that we didn’t ask for that and continued to tell us that she was right and we were wrong. After I told her to change it I am pretty sure she called us some choice words in her language but I was just over angry at the time and don’t speak The language to actually tell you the truth about that she was disrespectful towards my mom the entire time. At the end of the day for now on my mom and I will make the drive to our old nail salon were we are loved and respected.

They rock! This was my first time coming here and they exceeded my expectations! Tammy is awesome! VIP Nails and Spa is my new spot! :)

I think it is very difficult to find a nail salon that works and does a good job. VIP nails has been one of my favorite places for years. My nails last forever which saves me a lot of money and there are quite a few ladies that speak excellent English which makes it a lot easier communicating what I want. This place is popular and is one of the older nail salons in the area. I am not surprised people have complained on here about having to wait but if you go at peak times I feel like it is to be expected.

I walked in with my friend and we waited FOREVER for someone to do our acrylic nails. Hardly anyone was there and so we requested to be sat together and they set up on the complete opposite ends of the nail stations instead. We had a couple of questions and they were no help to us at all. They seemed to hardly even know English. I told the nail tech what I wanted and she looked at me like I was stupid and started questioning my choice and talking to her co-​workers about it and how weird it was. I finally talked her into doing it but she was very rushed and my nails ended up looking like CRAP. They weren’t smooth, I asked for a matte coat and there where spots on the nail she hadn’t even been covered with the matte coat. There were even parts of my nail that didn’t even have the color of my nails on it! The nails were different lengths and one of them was like lop sided and crooked (not on the hand in the picture). Not only that, less than 3 days later and my friend and I both got a chipped nail. Very very poor customer service and horrible nails. Also my friend got her eyebrows waxed here and they double dipped the stick (which you’re never ever suppose to do. Herpies have been spread that way.) Won’t ever go back.

My parents live right down the street from this shop, so that’s one of the reasons why I go here (despite the fact that I live in North Dallas). I visit my parents a few times a month and if I’m in desperate need of a fill I always wait until I’m in this part of town so I can go here.
The main reason I go here is because the service is always so friendly. They always remember me. One time, they had stayed late for me because I desperately needed a fill and wouldn’t have time the next day (as I would be leaving to go back to Dallas).
Their work is always spot on and the people that work here are sweet, kind and always make me laugh! They go out of their way to do little things. For instance, once they saw I was interested in a show and turned the tv up and moved the tv so I could see it better. They can always fit you in, too.
I just adore this shop and their employees! Oh and you get a discount if you pay cash!
