We came here again recently(not by choice) and like always this place is a huge disappointment. The quality of their employees is just disheartening. I hope this place can turn it around.

Best bar in town! Pool, beers, great music and friends! If I were to nominate Fort Worth’s best bartender, I would nominate Misty! Misty is extremely attentive and welcoming!

Suzanne obviously is not a fan of dive bars. This bar is awesome in many ways, which I will list for you here: It’s called VIPs, yet it’s so not VIP. irony=fun They sell Jell-O shots. They sell tamales. They have koozies for $ 2 not sure I should go on, as I feel that if the above did not sell you then clearly you are not buying… however: They have T shirts(not sure of price). It’s located next to an Elk’s Lodge, complete with a big elk statue that makes for some nice after the bar photo ops. It’s smoky, and has a juke box, pool, darts and shuffle board. They will call you a cab and blow an airhorn when your cab arrives. I will also note that they have a myspace page, which shows an amazing mural of the ocean with some dolphins. I did not see this on my recent visit, as I believe it is located on the patio, which I did not venture out to… however, I believe this adds an element of class that only a dive bar called VIPs can aspire to have. thank you, that is all.

This is a dreadful bar, yet somehow it still has charm. They have pool and pitchers of beer. A tiny dive bar across from the cemetery where the staff will show you photos of the ghost orbs they caught on digital camera when they were out getting drunk in the grave yard. Did i mention DIVEBAR?
