Fabulous tonight as usual! Ordered the Plato grande for 3 – 4 — was a ton of delicious food, fed 5 easily and we are taking a ton home! Margaritas and sangrias were also excellent !

Martin took great care of me and my guest… I eat a lot of chips and salsa… he kept me in stock all night and my drinks full and refilled. Queso ans guac app was delicious! Thanks again Martin for the great service… we’ll be back ASAP

Just consistently great Mexican. The service is usually outstanding and the servers are helpful with questions. Cant miss with the tacos, fajitas, or queso/guac. A must eat in Fort Worth.

This place was phenomenal. Great food and great service. My husband got chicken fajitas and I got shrimp tacos. We split the sopapillas after. What an awesome meal, we both are until we were about to pop. And the ate a little more.

Been there twice now… their queso dip is really good, but you must have their carnitas Azteca special; the sweet spicy pork is incredible and their tacos are excellent!

The fajitas are now just middle of the road. In prior years, the beef fajitas were a premium tender meat. Now, just average and the price is comparable to Papassitos, which in my opinion maintains 5 stars for their beef fajitas.

Viva la Swirl! Handmade flour tortillas are muy Bueno. Really good food, even the fish! I swear the fishy was staring at me, if you follow my expression. Great atmosphere. Fun place to go.

Uncle Julio’s is a solid choice for Mexican dining and an icon of Fort Worth Tex Mex. The hostess station was well staffed during Sunday brunch and we were seated with our group right away. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Uncle Julio’s and I was pleasantly surprised by the thin and fresh tortilla chips. The salsa has a red pepper and roasted flavor which was a bit mild for me. My date ordered a frozen mango margarita which she said was very good. She also had a bowl of tortilla soup, a flavorful but also mild recipe. Guacamole was fresh and tasty though the avocado chunks in it were oddly large and difficult to pick up with a chip. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. Food came to us quickly and tasted fresh. The store is somewhat difficult to get to from the highway because of its situation on the interstate 30 access road. Let your gps guide you. I had to make an illegal turn to avoid circling around the block a second time when trying to find my own way.

Had to have been the worst beef fajitas ever. Chewy, gristly meat. Swear the meat still had the whip marks on it from the jockey. Uncle Julio’s value for what they serve has been declining over recent years. This is the main reason I haven’t been here in over two years.

I don’t know why I’m rating Uncle Julio’s again. I can’t remember ever having a meal here that wasn’t great! Ok I’ll bore everyone once again. Atmosphere is always super. The wait time from ordering to being served is always lightening fast. The food itself is always high quality and incredible. The portions are obnoxiously huge. The salsa is the best I’ve ever had in my life and usually purchase extra to take home. I always walk out of there fuller than a seed tick on a yeller yard dog!

Friendly service and good food, but they are known for their Swirls which are overpriced to be such a big deal!
