I have had some great times at this venue attending intimate concerts with very best of my friends. I have been crawling in and out of this bar for about half a decade I believe. Tomcats is a place to come out and watch your favorite people do what they love while having a brew with your pals.

Shady location, very divey and scary, if you ask me! Reaked a little pot, but given the location and venue type, I shouldn’t have expected any less! :-)

This place is definitely a drive. It’s pretty far from me. Came to see Upon A Burning Body. Said doors open at 7 they didn’t let us in until 8pm. So we waiting outside in the damn heat. Since the last time I came here stage is so much better. Sound was great! It did say we would get a free cd. Didn’t get one. I got a damn raffle ticket and was told to come back anytime after Tuesday. (Release date) then a guy from staff told me to go Friday bc that’s when they will be there. Ugh, kind of sucks to have to drive all the way back and I wish they would have mentioned that. They need to be more specific. &&& yes, I will be coming back for it. Oh yeah, and it’s hot as hell. So wear minimal clothes possible where is not offensive.

Tomcats is great. They make drinks, they have great sound, they had a this or the apocalypse show. 5 stars. Almost. Cigarette smoke inside buildings makes me miserable now that it’s uncommon in the rest of the country. Me and my whole band literally leave places feeling sick now. Shit is murdering everyone in the place a little bit; we already do that enough with alcohol so we don’t need to commit anymore suicide for the time being. End of story, great place. Without the smoke I’d be way happier in there.

Sound’s awesome… bar is pricey compared to going to a every day bar, but that’s because that’s how ANY rock venue in the area makes a buck. Door goes to pay bands, bar pays to keep the place open. This place is great to catch out some of the best local bands, as well as national acts. As a photographer, it’s not a bad place to shoot. A little smokey, but great accessibility for shots.

Tomcats is a bar which is waaaaay out in outskirts Fort Worth (for me); but is also worth every mile. For this local show venue, the setup just doesn’t get any better. pool tables, quick bar service with interesting, unique and amazing shots on the menu, AND one of the best sounding places I’ve been to across the county line. This particular evening featured one of Dallas best up-​and-​coming bands; NIGHT GALLERY!

So if you’re looking for a place with a relaxing atmosphere, pool tables, great bartenders, exceptional drinks, and will rock your face off… this is totally the place to be.
