This place is a maze of theological books stacked to the ceiling! The owner is cool with his prices. Lots of rare books and great turnover — this is not a dead bookstore by any means. Though a little hard to find, just look for the building that says BOOKS on the right side and it is there. The place is closed on Sundays and Mondays, and opens late.

This place is ridiculous. I love it. A whole in the wall place down a dark hallway and then you’re in a goldmine for a guy like me. Some of the books I found here are almost legendary books that I never thought I’d be able to get my hands on. If only I had more money to spend here. This is not the normal Christian bookstore where you go to get Testaments, self-help under the guise of discipleship or the latest trendy devotional. Acquiring libraries from pastoral estates and churches, Theological Pursuits has books of an incredibly wide range that I’m surprised has not brought a drowning wave of students from many of the local seminaries. Maybe it’s better that I keep this place a secret for myself. In that case«No one ever go to Theological Pursuits! I don’t want the competition!» Really, this place an excellent resource to find out of print books that have passed beyond rare. I don’t look forward to moving out of town when I’m done with school because I don’t want to give a place like this up. You may want to stop by to browse a selection of books that you may not find anywhere else and at generally reasonable prices.
